I bet T-Mac can almost taste it its painful.  Once cursed never to leave the first round of the NBA play-offs his Spurs are now a win away from the NBA finals

After getting slapped with a lifetime ban in the PBA by Commissioner Chito Salud, Renaldo Balkman vowed that the choking incident won’t happen again.

“I respect the Philippine Basketball Association and @PetronBlaze Organization, this situation will never happen again… it’s a lesson learned,” Balkman posted on his Twitter account.

Balkman added: “I accept all responsibilities for my actions while playing an intense game, I have truly enjoyed my time here playing in the Philippines.”

Too bad he was averaging 28 points per game in their last 5 games.  All of them wins.

Lakers fans got their hopes up as their team fought toe to toe with Lebron's Heat...but in the end LBJ was too much.  Lakers lost by 9

5 losses again.  Those Lakers are so far from correcting their course.  Reminds me of the Malone Payton days except those guys at least went to the playoffs.

TnT made short work of RoS last night.  They go up 1-0 in their best of 7 finals.  Rain or Shine had no flow the whole game except for a brief run in the 4th.
