Anas is seriously ill. He is vomiting blog and unable to walk.
Despite Anas being vetted here by gaza-evacuation-funds and constantly documenting his struggle in Gaza through photographs and videos in multiple languages, including his interview with AJ+, he has messaged me telling me that tumblr has restricted activity on his previous blog @anas-kamal and he has been forced to create a new one at @dr-anas96.
This is already heinous under any circumstance but especially now with his condition. His campaign is severely stagnating and he is depending on it now more than ever.
Anas has been a ray of light for the children of Gaza, coming up with games and activities for them, but now he is unable to move around due to his illness. The doctors are trying to figure out why he is vomiting blood but as you well know, resources are very limited.
This is a video of Anas's parents baking bread with the scarce amount of flour they are able to obtain.
Anas is unable to focus on sharing his campaign as his internet connection is fleeting and he doesn't currently have the energy. I'm begging you to join me in spreading his campaign on his behalf.

¡ Greetings everyone ! my name is Ana… Anas Ayesh needs your support for Help a Medical Student
Anas's condition is worrying. With no fully operational hospitals, the doctors are unable to run an MRI to check for cancerous tumors which they suspect to be the cause of the bleeding.
I am Inas, a mother of two young children: Muhammad, 7 years old, and Hala, 5 years old. They should have been living their childhood like all children—safe and warm in the embrace of their father. But the war has stolen that dream from us😭😭😭
Six months ago, my husband Anas, a kind-hearted man who endured a life of poverty, was killed by a random shell while on his way to work as a taxi driver. Since that tragic day, I’ve been left to carry the unbearable weight of life alone.
I held a diploma in international secretarial studies and was about to start a job to help support my family. But the war shattered not only our home but also my hopes and dreams. We’ve been displaced six times and now live in a tent that offers no shelter from the bitter cold or the ever-looming fear.
My young children face relentless hunger that weakens their fragile bodies and a cold that knows no mercy for their small hearts. Each day, their cries for warmth and food grow louder, and each day, I feel more helpless to provide them with even the basics of life💔😭😭
I appeal to your humanity, to your compassion. We need your help to survive, to find a safe shelter, and to feed my children. Your generosity could be the reason Muhammad and Hala continue to live and find hope amidst this darkness🥹
Please, help me keep the light of these innocent children from being extinguished by this cruel world

A photograph from the 1870’s showing tens of thousands of bison skulls. They were mass slaughtered by the U.S. Army to make room for cattle and force Native American tribes into starvation.
“Far from inciting feelings of disgust or horror, the slaughter of bison was seen by European settlers as a means to wealth, a healthy pastime, and most chilling of all, as a way to end the primary source of sustenance for the Plains Indians and so drive them from their land.”
and i don’t know. a ceasefire won’t be enough. it truly won’t fucking be enough for Gaza. what? israel withdraws and gets absolutely no consequences and we all have to pretend like Ghazawis still aren’t trapped in the borders of the city? that a fucking very substantial amount of israelis, just right fucking there, living on the other side celebrated and watched and enjoyed seeing the carnage and death? if they weren’t the ones running over children or targeting schools or sniping elderly women leaving church. they would happily see bibi replaced with someone just like him? and they get no sanctions? nothing?
meanwhile they will still continue to ban Palestinians to return back to Gaza, even in the diaspora, even if they’re doctors. they will ban medication. they will control the water. they will start imposing tariffs and regulations around concrete and building supplies.
and who will give Gaza the money to rebuild???? these Arab nations who normalized relations???????? who became wealthy off the blocking of borders?? off of the waterways?? Wallah this is beyond shameful and nothing will fix the stain it has made on us all. And know, for those tuning in, this is not the first stain.
y’all say “you can’t heal in the environment that broke you” for every little thing. how is Gaza going to heal when every inch of it has been burned and superimposed with death and carnage. with the zanana still buzzing incessantly. with the children who will never get their family back. and i mean no living relatives. these scars are forever and they’re stuck in the 365sq km.
the occupation MUST end. Gaza and all of Palestine must be freed.
please think of the disabled people of gaza. please think of the diabetic people of gaza. please think of the neurodivergent people of gaza. please think of those whose lives are relying on medicine that has either stopped coming in due to the blockade, or is available in such scarcity that its price has skyrocketed.
we're approaching winter. on top of the challenge of securing waterproof tents and sufficiently warm clothing, some diabetic people in gaza have stopped taking their insulin as they can no longer afford it. those who are able to acquire it for now know every shot may be their last.
