I will be posting mostly screencaps of my lovely virtual pets but may occasionally ramble and share my thoughts as well. I am a bit busy with my other blogs and real-world responsibilities, so I'm taking this blog slow overall.
A quiet garden, a place of solace and growth. Pleasance is a hidden away home to a little witch and her familiar. It's a place full of greenery and acorn apple trees, with a small, yet, cozy pond for playing in and drinking from. A true paradise for those wishing to just get away and relax.
Though, it seems to have found itself a new, unwelcomed inhabitant. A guest that's overstayed its visit and has now become an insistent pest.
A beginner witch who mostly specializes in potion making using fruit (acorn apples being her favorite). She's a fairly anti-social girl, preferring to keep to herself. Hazel puts all her attention into growing her garden and studying, honing her skills in the process. Her only friend is her familiar, Honeykip, who she regularly talks to as if she were a fellow hom. She's fairly calm and observant, seemingly unfazed at any chaos around her, such as a potion exploding or Honeykip accidently knocking over a stack of books.
What she doesn't tolerate are pests in her garden, wandering stray homs and livlies who think it appropriate to trespass on her property and steal her fruit. These pests are the only things that truly irritate her, prompting her to chase them off with her wand. There's one particularly stubborn pest that has recently taken refuge in the garden that refuses to leave, no matter how many times she's shooed him away.
Honeykip (Chima Cornu Lepus β)
Hazel's only familiar and closest companion, Honeykip is endlessly loyal and helpful whenever she is needed (and sometimes when she's not). Unfortunately, she's always been a bit of a klutz, tripping and knocking into things, making a mess of everything without intending to. She was quite the handful for her old litter, leading her to not be well tolerated by her peers. The poor thing was eventually abandoned by her own family and forced to try and find refuge with any homs willing to take her in. Only for those same homs to abandon her as well, unable to handle her clumsy nature.
But what she lacks, she makes up for in genuine sweetness. She really is just a sweetheart who wants to help, always eager to please without expecting anything in return. She's become easily attached to the one person who's kept her around the longest, so wants to help out Hazel in any way she can. Still young. Still naive. Which is why she fails to notice any ill intensions others have towards her, such as the newest livly that's found its way into the garden and has grown interested in her specifically...
She smells of fresh cinnamon, a scent Warblepine has come to find rather enticing.~
Warblepine (Nightmare β)
Described as a pest by Hazel, Warblepine is a wild livly who does not belong in Pleasance, but has forced his way in, nonetheless. He just stumbled his way in one day, following the sweet scent of acorn apples and cinnamon and has refused to leave ever since. He mostly snuffles about, looking for fruit to eat or napping on one of the stones in the pond. He doesn't go out of his way to pester Hazel, yet, his mere presence still seems to irritate her. He does, however, pester Honeykip, having grown fascinated by her and her clumsy ways.
Warblepine can be a bit pushy and invasive towards Honeykip. He'll sneak up behind her, shove his snout into her fur to catch a whiff of her cinnamon scent, paw and claw at her to see how she reacts. A bit of a bully, really. Has even shoved her down and nipped at her while she struggles. He never hurts her too much, just startles her mostly. He's just curious, wants to observe this amusing, little puffball. She gets more hurt due to her own clumsiness, so he finds it fascinating that his own rough treatment doesn't faze her. He must experiment further to test her limits.
His glasses are prescription and tinted due to light sensitivity. His eyes are always squinting because of this.
Deep within a dark forest resides an old, abandoned mansion that used to be owned by a circus magician. Its halls still filled with everything he left behind from cards to gears to his beloved music box that now sits alone on a shelf next to a round, iron window. This very music box still plays an otherworldly melody and the atmosphere of the house still sparkles with the very magic the magician used to cast.
It seems this has lured an unsuspecting, little hom and her livly who've now taken residency in the mansion...
A sneaky, mischievous girl with an innocent heart. Miu could never quite connect to other homs, always finding comfort and understanding in the whimsical atmosphere that is the circus. Which is exactly why she chose to run away and stumbled her way into an abandoned mansion deep in the forest, lured in by the eerie melody of a dark carousel. She now lives there alongside her livly companions, occasionally heading out to pick berries and get some fresh air, she always returns back to the mansion, almost as if she's under a spell that compels her to stay.
Miu likes to play and run about, playing games like make believe, hide-and-seek, and chase. She's very high-energy and will sometimes just skip and climb on anything she can reach, Prance not too far behind. She especially has an interest in card games or watching magic tricks and will become instantly enthralled when someone performs for her. Unfortunately, she is prone to throwing tantrums when things don't go her way or something disrupts her little fantasy. Just an overall fussy and finicky girl, a brat even.
Prance (Sunairo Yunk β)
Prance shares a conscious with Miu. The two are one and the same and cannot be separated. They share thoughts, feelings, emotions, and even memories. But despite that, Prance still operates independently of Miu and is considered her own. Miu will do one thing, and Prance will do another. While other times, they're in complete sync. Miu has the ability to act out actions using Prance as a vessel, if need be, such as when Miu is asleep or unconscious. Miu considers Prance to be her ~bestest friend!~
Prance is no different from Miu in personality, also bursting with energy and enjoys playing various games. She's always by Miu's side following along. Always hopping about and sniffing for treats to steal. She has no sense of boundaries, climbing atop others (Domino being her favorite). You best be wise to watch yourself around her as she will playfully nip or kick at you, steal your snacks, and then titter-laugh at you. She finds the kuromori that flies about in the mansion annoying and has attempted to eat it.
Domino (Stella β)
A bit of an older fellow, Domino resided on the overgrowth-infested estate of the mansion before Miu and Prance came along. He's a solitary livly by nature but found himself growing quite intrigued with the two girls, so decided to follow them inside the mansion. He's rather mean, finding enjoyment in bullying Miu by pushing her down or nipping at Prance's tail. Whenever Miu has one of her tantrums, he'll stop whatever he's doing just to watch and snort mockingly at her childish behavior. If she keeps at it, he'll eventually trot over and shove his snout into her face until she pets him and calms down.
Domino is much calmer and more analytical compared to the other two, more mature and less so naive. While Miu may drag him and Prance around, he's the one truly in charge. He's able to put his hoof down and forcefully guide them, if need be, even if he has to get rough in order to do so.
Just learned about how expensive and hard-to-trade rambles really are. Like, I knew they were expensive (arguably the most expensive Livly item), but didn't fully realize they were that expensive.
The odds of even getting a single one is considered a rare feat, like seeing a unicorn in real life. And most users aren't really willing to trade them unless you offer up another ramble or 4-5 SP items on their WL.
Oh well, guess me not really prioritizing rambles as a staple of my island goals turned out to work in my favor lol
