A bfdi gijinka au taking place in a post-apocalypse setting where... a bunch. Of teams fight for dominion over their crumbled society!!!!! They also have a recovery center im. Currently trying to figure out how to incorperate it well enough to work.

But anyways cake im thinking cake (im always thinking lightning but lets pretend cake for now)

Realizing i forgot to upload the art o him but whatever SO SINCE I HAVENT DESIGNED MOST OF THE REST OF HIS TEAM YET these ideas r gonna be more concept to change n lack alot of detail

B-day = Cake

Horatio = Loser

Sage = Leafy

Epsilon = Black Hole

Fringe = Firey

Im thinkin B-day was Horatio's pal or smth kinda like the little guy that followed him around. Biggest fan n allat. After the apocalypse I think somehow Horatio got to know this guy, ans they ended up at Advocates. Horatio is like "Im going to make u into a fine leader ^_^" so the little guy is p much second in command.

This is during a time where the Advocates had gathered everyone n formed some sort of alliance out of the ppl they rescued. Horatio and cake watch this team quickly fall apart over the couple of weeks because of everyone contending over who deserves to lead and enforce their own rules, so they make a secret backup team INSIDE a team called Unchain'd.

Meanwhile Horatio is exiled for having SAGE!!!! TUCKED AWAY SOMEWHERE!!! SAGE!!! Everyone hates sage!!!! She caused the apocalypse!!!! So yeah Horatio is left to defend for himself all by his lonesome, but with his last time in Advocates he shouts smth about B-day being the leader of Unchain'd n yells for them to escape Advocates, but luckily they dont have to. Advocates kinda just kick them out for being so rebellious, and to prevent overthrowing their current leader Epsilon.

Nows a fun time to mention that B-day has rlly rlly bad visions. Like at certain random times he'll see the world but if it was like. everythings icky n awful like in tpot 19. SO BASICALLY the more bad things happen, the more he starts to believe those visions are actually sights into the future. Fun right!!!!!!

B-day is freaking out a bit about being put in charge but hes like "no!! Stay strong!! Fpor horatio!!!" So he's decided instesd of fighting for dominion like everyone else, he's going 2 lead his team 2 saftey!!!!! They all go on this long trek to find somewhere safe, n build a treehouse as the headquarters wherever they decided to go.

Ok ok here's the fun bit. By now Bday is very concerned about his visions, and he becomes very vocal about them, telling his team they ought to try and PREVENT the scary bad future from happening!!! I'd think most of his team belives him bevause they're silly like that, but Fringe encourages him to relax, that whatever he's seeing isnt real (mainly cause Fringe straight up is in denial about the possibility of something bad ever happening but hes a whole other can of worms.)

Still, thr more Bday gets to know his teammates, the more hes prone to just breaking down randomly because either he has a vision in which they're all dead or he's scared he isnt going to be good enough of a leader to protect them all. Like everyone will just be having a good time n then this guy just starts uncontrollably sobbing out of nowhere. In which case most of the members in Unchain'd try and help him feel better and saferrrr awwww i love themm the only stable alliance.......

I also like to think Bday sends out search parties for his old friends to try and find them n see if theyre ok since the apocalypse seperated them, while also grabbing resources n everything.

ouugh oops if this is practically unreadable my brain is fried rn and i can't tell if anyrhing im writing is actuslly decent or not but eh the more i make these the more it becomes my comfort zone to write and THATS ☝🏾 AWESOME ☝🏾. so ye

Also might add tinier sillier things n ideas instesd of big textwalls like this :^ cause they TAKE A WHILE TO WRITE N I GRT NERVOUS they sit on the back burner for a WHILE.

MORE BFG YAP BECAUSE I HAD A FUCKING IDEA I BIKED ALL THE WAY HOME N I ALMOST FUCKING FORGOR.

Peki = pencil

Nel = Needle

MORE ON PEKI AND NEL cause ok the first iteration of their story was "awww yuri... i love yuri... i wanna make peki and nel kiss chz thats cute... but also add spice tee hee" so it was like. Peki kidnaps Nel takes her hostage n nels like "ohhh i love u actually " n they make out some dumb shit like that. But i still value slightly younger me's ideas, i always value my ideas in stories n try to keep them in the story for better or for worse so when i wrote like HALF of Peki's arc, the first thing the thing from earier the bfg matchcil yap? Well i wasn't considering the second half w nel in it. N i really liked the kickass idea that happens later n it cant happen if NEL ISNT THERE SO i was thinking how to incorperate her MEANINGFULLY into Peki's life w out it becoming just kissy cutie yuri slop.

But i had an idea while frolicking at my local park n swinging for an hour straight listening to Shayfer James.

Oh. Taking Nel hostage? Peki takes Nel from the Starstruck alliance hostsge to once again feel powerful yknow. Feel control over someone because lately shes become extremely paranoid she's lost it with everyone else, and cant trust them. Also to have power over an entire other team by taking one of their most useful members.

That puts her in favor of her team, that her efforts actually have meaning now bevause LOOK! instead of sending her teammates off to practically just kill themselves she's taking steps towards the future by having a whole other team under her control. She still doesnt trust them but hey, its better than before.

Okay here's the really fun part oohhhhh i love this part

Nel is physically incapable INCAPABLE of going against Peki. She cant say or do anything that goes against Peki otherwise her Starstruck buddies suffer for it. She HAS to listen to Peki, and she does. She complies with everything Peki says whether she likes it or not, she complies with everything Peki does whether she likes it or not.

Peki, so incredibly on her power high off of this, off of actually having control over someone, ends up taking as much advantage as she can. Wait wait noNO THIS ISNT GOING WHERE YOU THINK ITS GOING I PROMISE 🙏🏾 WE DONT SERVE THAT HERE☝🏾☝🏾☝🏾 thats the restaurant over THERE . OK? Ok . Respect if ur mind didnt dive head first into the gutter i love you sm for that /p /lh

Nyways she takes advantage by venting to Nel, knowing all she can do is agree. Peki has been SO nerve-wrecked by her arugments with Becki, and since Becki was the one she relied on for validation until recently, she's been INCREDIBLY unbearably insecure, indecisive, lonely, and anxious. She basically uses shackled Nel to constantly remind her how RIGHT she is. This obviously feeds into her delusions Really Fucking Well. But it also feeds into another.

She realizes she's become attatched to poor Nel cuz shes the only one she feels agrees with her!!! What if Nel isnt just saying all those things to protect her teammates!! Shes just been so agreeable its hard not to believe it atp i mean cmon. She looks so genuine.... what what if she likes meee? Mmeeeeeeeeee? So ofc peki asks this n Nel is extremely hesitant. But says she does ooooooohhhh myyyyy ggoooooodddddddd this isnt even yuri anymore they're just fucked up rn. Way cooler than whatevrr i was thinkjng before tho hell yeah

So peki is going insane hooray

i need to explain nel's pov briefly. I'll do a nel yap post later but this is important to note here. She's lying in order to protect her teammates ofc, simply tryinf to please Peki so she doesnt do anything drastic n things go smoothly until she can find a way out of this situation. But as peki vents, Nel sees STRAIGHT through her confidence n feels an overwhelming pity for her. Not enough to excuse her or change her mind about her or anything but she IS definitely pitiful and fucked up. This doesnt warrant romantic feelings. But it does. Warrant. A way out. Nel might be able to help Peki "i can fix her" type stuff but imagine ur trying to fix a mentally ill dragon that trapped you in its tower n "i can fix her" is your only logical way out. Thats whats happening from Nel's perspective.

WHAT IF. Arc idea. Yuri idea. Yuri.

So peki is the leader of Gearsome (essentially freesmart) n deeply desires to keep control her team is like. The best of the best despite having few members because of their technology. Their technology being MODIFIED CAMPER VAN W A TURRET POSTED ON TOP N A BIG FREIGHT IN THE BACK FULL OF USEFUL STUFF. This war shit is easy for them. Or it looks like it.

None of this is Peki's doing, and it drives her up the wall that she has to act like she did when she's deathly afraid of messing everything up. Messing everything Becki had built for her.

Y'see, back when the apocalypse was starting, she was bunkering down in the sewers n freaking out cause her entire life was gone in an instant, and she didnt know why. She took it weirdly personally too for 80 anxious and delusional reasons, like the entire thing happening was her recieving punishment for everything she's done in her life.

But whoooo was there to help her out when she's lost p much everyone she knew? Becki. Becki is the reason she's alive, actually, pulling her down into the manhole just in time before disaster struck. Becki has been a longtime friend by the way, basically Peki's #1 apologist and defender, for better or for worse. And her confidence despite the situation that was currently unfolding kept Peki still fighting to survive, even if she's extremely distressed right now.

After leaving the sewers Becki tries to get Peki to toughen up, n this leads to her ultimately giving Peki the impression to FIGHT when anxious. Fight when she's unsure of herself. Eliminate the opposition to remind herself she's powerful.

Peki is still troubled, lacking any social skills because of her.. yknow. Situation. Becki, somehow being unfazed by all this, makes more attempt to help her by setting her up w ppl. They go out looking for their old friends, seeing if they're alive, make new allies, and retreat to find a safe place to stay, what Becki plans will become a headquarters. Behind the scenes, Becki is boosting Peki's ego and giving her advice on how to talk to people. "Say it like this! Look confident! You're the predator, they're the prey. THEY'RE scared of YOU. You have to act like youve always got something up your sleeve." Becki's also her bodyguard essentially, always staying in the shadows ready to shoot if Peki's interactions go awry. Basically training her for leadership HER way, because she wants to see Peki succeed more than anything.

Gearsome is formed, they find their camper, and Bonnie and Tilda modify it to run on yoylejuices yes yoylejuices from yoyleberries. Fun! The team is set. Peki shows off her cool leadership skills by immediately driving out into the city to shoot up and run over anyone in their field of view. To mark where they deem is "their territory", they do donuts w their van bc thats awesome. Months later they're basically at the top of the food chain, and Peki is absolutely sick off of her god-complex at this point.

She's had a few members come in and out, two who've gone and tried to overthrow her, which extremely negated alot of the trust she had for ANYONE. Becki insisted they keep those two members instead of killing them because they're useful, and after an argument with Becki later that almost gets violent, Peki doesnt trust Becki either anymore, but quietly complies. She is fully convinced this woman could kill her if she felt like it. But somethings stuck with her all this time, a little reminder in her head that puts everything into perspective when she's feeling anxious, confused, weak.

Eliminate the opposition.

Her teammates catch onto the fact that Peki's becoming mentally unstable, putting her teammates in more risky situationsn and becoming emotionally distant. In her perspective, they all swore to serve Gearsome with their lives, so she's decided to put their loyalty to the test.

Meanwhile, everyone gets along so well with Becki. She hasnt changed all this time, still acting like the same ol Becki with everyone else but PEKI. Becki often brings up her concerns w her, and they get into fights about it, but Becki nor Peki let the rest of the team know they have disagreements. Becki protects Peki's reputation over anything, but Peki has plans to sabotage her somehow. She's looking for any possible way to bring Becki out of favor with her crewmates, and bring her out of power in a way she cant physically hurt her in case she ever plans to.
