i dont take a hard stance on almost anything. there is an infinate amount of nuance to any given situation and i believe most things should be taken on a case-by-case basis, and no hard and fast rule will account for all of the intricacies of the human experience.

70s movies are lowkey unwatchable. they all have this dreamlike quality that is impossible to follow. there are probably some exceptions but whenever im like oh let me see what the filmmaking was like in the past! i get reminded that its bad. they didnt figure it out yet
i would add nervous system and ape to my species list but they dont rly count as kins because theyre literally true and i think thats funny. i just indentify with them more than most people.
dis is 3 separate gorillas! i didnt see their troops silverback but i assume they had one, there were signs up saying they were introducing new members so they might be showing strange behaviors which is maybe why the silverback wasnt around. it was cool to see them anyways, they were more interested in humans than the other animals around and i made eye contact with a few of them. i dont think the cared that much but it was nice that they acknowledged me in some way, usually that dosent happen, but as you said in the tags theyre basically us and i really like that about apes. soul sister..
