hello my lovely CM friends! I just wanted to post this here and say that Kristy has moved to my multimuse, @mercifulmemories and I will be reposting some asks, and headcanons there. I know most of the CM fandom has kind of gone into hiding, but if you’d like to follow me over there, i’d love to see you, and write with you over there!
I just went on an unfollow spree, bc I'm trying to come back here. it was best for my brain if I unfollowed a bunch of you. Doesn't mean I don't still love you! With current events being what they are, we are all in need of some serious distraction. In the interest of something to do, I’ve come up with some weekly headcanon challenges that people can participate in as actively or casually as they please.
The dates themselves are more like guidelines than rules - this is not meant to add pressure or stress to anyone’s day but provide a fun exercise to keep the dash busy and alive throughout the course of a tough time.
There are no rules to how many challenges you need to complete per week and nothing stopping you from completing week one during week four or, if you’re just not feeling a week’s theme, doing another week entirely. It’s all up to you to have fun at your pace!
For multimuses, you can answer with a different character each day, or run a death march round and try and do something each week for each character! I would not recommend trying to do everything for every character, since there’s no trophy for it but hey - you do you!
Please reblog this challenge so that others can see it and participate in it, or link to it somewhere in your headcanon. The more this spreads ( especially in smaller communities ) the more activity it will hopefully inspire!

"I would love to get a dog. I really would. It's Matt, I think, we would need to convince. He's the realist, and would point out all the flaws in us getting a dog. You know, all the training and upkeep, and exercise and food. The extra expense when we're still trying to figure that out with five kids now. There's a lot of logistics, which I understand, but I'd also love a dog. I'm sure the kids would too."

i was rewatching 15x04, and now i really need to know what happened when the team met little rose mary. matt said you couldn't wait to show her off.
"Rossi got to hold her first, y'know, since Rose is named after him. He was thrilled, even hummed something I'm sure was Italian. Him and Krystall cooed over her, then JJ fought for some snuggles before Penelope did. Of course, Penelope also came with all the gifts to last us until Rose is at least 2, I'm sure."
"Emily seemed a bit hesitant to hold her at first, but she picked it up quick enough and had the momma bounce down in no time. Spencer looked terrified to hold her, but Emily passed her off with ease, and Spencer did just fine. He rambled off a couple facts about babies, before Luke got his chance. What if Rose inherits Kristy's eye color and red hair as she grows up?
For one thing, Kristy would be thrilled, because the other four look so much more like Matt than they look like her. And it would just made her name that much more fitting.

Oh man. Kristy LOVES Christmas. She goes all out; Decorating inside and out, with lights and cute little things she's found over the years.
Her favorite thing to put out, is a fat moose her mom bought in her last year of her general law degree.
Christmas morning she always tries to get up before Matt to make breakfast (usually cinnamon buns that she started the night before) and coffee with Bailey's.

matt is badly hurt in the hospital and you can't find a sitter for the kids. what do you do?

This is all kinds of almost impossible, and here's why: The BAU and the IRT are both family. Kristy's parents literally moved to Virginia to be close and help with the kids when they needed it (which is a lot). Kristy would immediately call them first, and if they couldn't, for whatever reason, the next call is to Penelope, who may not work at the BAU any more, but Kristy knows that if Matt was hurt, Penny would immediately step into Aunty mode and take those adorable children in a heartbeat. If Penelope couldn't for whatever reason, there would be an SOS group text to the IRT Team that Matt was in hospital, and she needed a sitter. They'd find a way. That's how their family works. That's how the team works as a whole. Beyond that, Kristy also knows she can rely on the family network, because everyone knows people. JJ and Will had to have a reliable sitter who could pop by at a moments notice.
Kristy is nothing if not resourceful. She knows how to make everything work the way it needs to, even if it's short notice.
