Rapper A.R. the Believer and absent rapper Maisaan spit about the fallacies of Hip Hop in this colorful and fast paced music video. In settings such as the Chinatowns of San Francisco and Oakland, A.R. passionately raps verses aimed to expose the “all-talk” side of hip hop culture. There is no doubt that A.R. and Maisaan are truly “‘bout it”

I am a Mexican American Filmmaker coming from a family of immigrants. I strive and work harder everyday to spread positivity and awareness on what is going on in our world today, I have topics that are either unspoken about or portrayed differently in the media. I am a filmmaker ready to spread the the voices for those who are unheard.

I am student-filmmaker from San Francisco, California. As a first-generation Filipino-American, I want to talk about real struggles that are usually overlooked upon. I make films because I think it is important to see everyone’s story and to represent those who are often overshadowed. BAVC has taught me the necessary filmmaking skills and given me a platform to express my creative drive. In the future, I would like to continue making films that remember the people who may not have a voice or are belittled by society.

I am a Chinese-Vietnamese American filmmaker. As an Asian-American, I want to shed light upon the realities and obstacles many Asian-Americans face. Although I do not have much experience in filmmaking I have been able to delve into the realm of filmmaking thanks to BAVC, The Factory class. I am also able to provide cinematography services. Furthermore, I do this because it is amongst the basics and necessities of filmmaking, and I want to be able to share my experiences and production with others.
