Percy believes : -He holds space for how others feel but it's vibe-based and reactive rather than relational (he reaches out because Qiu stopped doing it, their parents expect him to too... he hands Tamarack words of reassurance if she seems to need them) -He's the only one left for Qiu (Ni misfire, reinforced by the fact they're best friends now and Qiu's fallout with both friends and family) However, he is still very Ti first, he : - is hard to know (jokes around most of the time, rarely, if ever genuine / serious) - is skeptical of other people's logic (he finds Vianca funny, he's also quick to dismiss her because he doesn't understand her reasoning). - lacks interpersonal sensitivity, its why he messages both Tamarack and Qiu after school, wondering how they'd react, despite knowing they aren't friends anymore / doesn't think of what that'd mean (Ni isn't in his top stack functions) It's all Ti dom : “I want to test the variables” > “I want to respect the dynamic.” Also tertiary Ni is strong in Percy : - chooses to look for Qiu in the rain (prefers independence over practicality). - goes around life with little regard of rules and conventions : he encourages Qiu to go through the mountain plan, despite the rain and danger, (Ni independence + opportunistic Se) These are tertiary Ni traits, individuality comes through risky alternative. Compare it to Qiu who : - Understands Percy relies on compromise between them and Tamarack and what that means for him (Fe+Ni) - Is on the lookout for Percy, even at their lowest (Fe) - Somewhat dissociated from their physical state when overwelmed (Tertiary Se) but has stress patterns : - Doesn't reach out for others the way they used to (presents like a Ti, but it is more Fe exhausion) - Dismissive (Ni-Ti lock, when pushing away the students who invited them at lunch, how they treat Vianca)

How do the jerks' parents feel about JB? How does JB get along with the parents? Assuming she is dating their son of course

Everett’s Parents: Mrs. Gray adores JB. She’s such a treat. It makes her proud that Everett found himself a good girl to be with. JB can never get over how sweet and motherly his mom is. It amuses her and the two get along well. Everett’s dad isn’t really available, in presence or emotionally. She thinks things are awkward whenever he’s around. Mr. Gray doesn’t have complaints about her, in most cases.

Nate’s Parents: JB doesn’t really have any relationship with them at all. They don’t ever start suddenly interacting with Nate more, so JB virtually never hears from them. She’s not a fan. From what they’ve heard, the Lawsons think JB is fine. They hope things work out for Nate.

Shiloh’s Parents: JB and Ms. Fields get along great. Shiloh’s mom knows a lot about interacting with the younger crowd since she’s a teacher and the two are closer to friends than her coming across like an authority figure. Shiloh’s dad Haney is generally a mystery to JB.

Bae’s Parents: Both of Bae’s parents want for Bae whatever makes him happy, so they only have positive things to say about JB. They’re thankful that she’s willing to accept him for who he is and that she isn’t put off by his ‘quirks’. JB thinks they’re super nice, though they’re quick to worry and apologize and reassure her about anything that might be even a bit of a problem so talking to them can be tricky.

Jeremy’s Parents: They love JB! She’s wonderful and funny and has done so many good things for their kid, more than they could’ve ever done on their own. JB prefers Jere’s mom over the dad, but she thinks both of them are cool. The three get along well.

Pran’s Parents: His daddio would think JB is a great catch. He’d also think that Pran is pretty similar to him. Not social or worldly but has the hots for someone who’s very outgoing and materialistic. (Pran is disgusted that his dad thinks the two of them are at all similar or that JB is comparable to his mom. It isn’t true.) Pran’s mother wouldn’t be especially happy. She’s very out of touch with her son. One thing she thought she knew was that the only person he liked was the green haired boy. Where did he go? Who is this new person? Pran rarely lets his parents interact with JB. On the rare occasions they do talk, JB is pretty harsh with her ‘jokey’ attitude because she knows how Pran feels about them and she doesn’t like them much either.
