Lately I've been feeling very thankful. Wether it be for what I have, who I have, or what I am doing.
I have a lot of stuff. It's just stuff. Not everything is important to me but i have it just the same. Does that even make sense? non the less i am thankful that i have possessions, and that i've been lucky enough to have them. I've been places and seen people with nothing. Things that i take advantage of every single day are things that they never would, because even one day living under a roof would make them happy. I volunteered in Russia two years ago, i worked in an orphanage and a womens mental hospital. Being both of these places I was able to see the things that i spoke of above. Children and women alike who were just as happy to sit in the sun and play, or to play a game of cards with me because otherwise they would be someplace in some room not knowing if anyone actually cared about them. Well i did, and to this day still do care about everyone of the people that I met there. I wish there was a way of letting them know. At least they are constantly in my thoughts and mind. As for who i have, Everyone i've met makes an impact in my life, wether it's the checker at the store because they were uber nice or my mom and dad, I learn from them. My family is very close. My mom and dad who raised me to have an open mind and be the best person i can at all times. My little sister whom is my best friend and the person I cherise more than anything else. My other best friend, Hannah, whom is my other half and luckily like another sister to me. These are the people I talk to as often as possible and who make me feel like the luckiest person alive. I love them all and they are the people i am most thankful for. I am thankful for the things i get to do in life. Such as traveling, working, loving, going to school, and literally being alive and able to move everyday.
