my friends and I were talking about how Scarlet Hollow is missing a town bar or dive or something besides the diner as a hang out and then i thought about the Roadhouse from Twin Peaks and it all got kind of silly from there

the good thing about always being a small creator is that over the years i have cultivated a strong enough sense of self that i don't equate liked+reblogs with the quality of my art.

This means that if i post something i rly like and it gets 5 likes, i just shrug and move on. I enjoyed making it and i like it, so thats enough.

It also means that if something i think is kinda mid gets 100+ likes, i sit there like "the people are wrong. it's not worth that many likes".

some silly cunt wrote this whole textwall about how a particular work that is psychosexual, and questionable on purpose made them feel yucky and icky because its psychosexual and questionable. And instead of like...idk processing it on their own by telling a friend or writing a post on their own blog, they had to send an ask to the author like he is their personal therapist.
