First.. what is it ? Especially in England they dug up these bottles containing the materials i have written down below, research discovered that these where so called witch bottles, witches or pagans made these and buried them under the doorstep of their houses to protect them against evil energies or curses. Materials: - Little glass vial - Black candle - Hair,Urine,Blood,Nails from the one you want to protect - War water, or just water - Sage - Black salt or just salt - Sharp things, nails.. or i also put a cactus nail in it.. War water ? War water is basically just water collected from a fierce thunderstorm and is a very aggressive protector against curses or negative energy. Mostly people add mold, cayenne pepper or sharp things in it too. Activating First put everything in it, except for the black candle.. you only need the wax to seal it. Take the vial in your hands and charge it with your intentions. meditate on what use you want it to have. When it feels good your done !

How to Clean Bones

First of all, don’t bleach bones! Boiling causes fat to soak into the bone, resulting in a greasy, yellowish specimen.

This is the simplest method of cleaning bones:

1. Remove any remaining tissue or hide from the bone.

2. Immerse the bone in a container of water.

3. Leave the container in a warm location where you won’t mind the smell.

4. Periodically pour the greasy, smelly water out (gardens love it!) and replace with fresh water.

5. When the water runs clear, the bacteria has run its course.

6. Soak the bone in regular drugstore strength hydrogen peroxide until it reaches the white you prefer. This also sterilizes the bone

Astral Travel 🚀🌌

My personal method of astral travel.

Get some sleep prior so that you don’t accidentally doze off

Wear comfortable clothing

Turn off or dim the lights in your room as much as possible, although this can still be performed in a fully lit room if you want

Lay down in a comfortable position - I usually lay flat on my back in bed with something covering my eyes as to not let any light slip through

Choose a soundtrack or playlist consisting of ambient music and binaural beats (this is my favorite - to be listened to with headphones for the best results)

The music and binaural beats help to get you to a relaxed, meditative, trance-like state without consciously trying too hard

Once you reach that state, you should feel somewhat of a “body high” or a tingly sensation all over your body

At this point, try to visualize the room you’re in and your surroundings as if you were actually standing there looking around and not laying down in a bed

When you can do this successfully, it’s time to actually travel elsewhere: visualize yourself walking around your room, and eventually ending up somewhere totally different - I always “fly” or “float” to my destination but how you get there is up to you - I personally like to go to space, but you can literally go anywhere you want

I would recommend creating an “astral sanctuary” or “astral temple” when you reach your destination - this is basically your home base for when you decide to astral travel back to that place

This requires more visualization to actually manifest something that was not there before - your sanctuary can be as low-key or extravagant as you want

Practice placing items and altering the surroundings in your astral sanctuary 

Once your sanctuary is created and you have a safe place to return to, it’s time to explore your surroundings - this can take as long as you want, there’s no time limit just so long as you’re responsible with it and aren’t missing out on any real-life priorities or appointments 

To re-enter your body, you must try to “snap out of it” and visualize traveling back to your physical body - I always end up repeatedly saying something like “it’s time to go home now” until I feel like I am becoming more conscious and aware of myself 

You might be pretty exhausted after astral traveling, so it’s a good idea to have some water and a snack on hand for when you return

🌿Magical herbal salt🎀

Hi!🌹 Today I want to share here one of my magic salt recipes!🔮💜

First at all I took some fresh herbs from my little balcony garden and rock salt.🌱

Salt is a crystalline mineral made of two elements, sodium (Na) and chlorine (Cl).Salt magical properties are cleansing, purification, protection.

I used Parsley, Lavender, Basil and Marjoram.

Herbs magical properties are:

Parsley - increase strength, vitality and passion.Parsley is also supposed to protect food from contamination.🌿

Basil - helps steady the mind, brings happiness, love, peace, and money and protects against insanity.🌿

Marjoram - cleansing, purification, and dispelling negativity.🌿

Lavender -love, healing, purification, sleep and beauty.🌿

So that all herbs make my salt more magical and powerful!🌙🔮

I used mortar and pestle to mix that all.🌿After that I added my salt into glass jar and I left in on my altar🔮.

I will add my herbal salt to everything that I cook.

Also I will use it for my protection spells and rituals.🔮

Sweet Talkin’

This spell comes from the idea of “sweet talking” in order to achieve a goal. It works a lot like a honey jar which I have a post about if you’re interested in the history/how to make them. The sugar and honey act to “sweeten” your speech convincing the candle/spirit to work for you.

For this spell you will need:

1) Honey (or any other liquid sweetener ex. agave, syrup, molasses, etc)

2) Sugar

3) Something to mix with

4) A bowl or cup

5) Candle of your choice

What you’re going to do is mix the honey and sugar until it makes a paste. It should be pretty thick and not too runny. Then, using a candle you have already put your intention into your going to smear some of the honey onto it. Be careful not to overcoat it as this can cause fires/uneven burning. With the rest of the honey you’re going to put it on your tongue (DO NOT SWALLOW YET) and “sweet talk” the candle. Tell it what you want it to do, when it will be done and how. After you have said everything you wanted to say light the candle and swallow the honey mixture.

This spell can be used for money, love, or anything else really. I have had amazing results using this for money and have noticed this spell always works fast when I’m in a hurry.

Additional ingredients can be added of course, for example when using this spell for money I usually use cinnamon (powdered) and bank dirt (I have a post on this!) Happy casting!

A lot of non white cultures use shells in our rituals. That means they take dead shells from the sea. I’m in a place where many locals and natives take sea shells and sell them or use them for decorative purposes. That is how many of them get income. Santeria and Hoodo rituals sometimes call foe the use shells collected along the ocean. Some Voodoo rituals call for shells too. There are also some Polynesian and Pasifika cultures that use sea shells, and carribbean ( that includes many atr cultures) that use shells.

And a lot of these people know how to care for and protect the environment yet have had their homes, lands, and even bodies violated by people who believe shells and other organisms deserve more respect than actual human beings and non-white cultures.

Non white cultures have used shells in their practices for years and it pisses me off when “woke” white people decided to deem culturally practices and items “harmful to the environment”, when there are other things you can advocate about.

And seriously, “i had hoped more from a blog called green witch”? How rude and entitled can you be? I hate when white people act holier than thou in the face of non white traditions, esp africana.

It is a race issue because you are being completely ignorant of cultures that DEPEND on shells for cultural practice and significance. Cultures who rely on and care about the sea more than you. I just wrote a mini essay and you are still sending me links, still failing to realize how their response (and yours) is ignorant a racist. It is a race issue because all the time, white ppl come with this type of gate keeping when it comes to non white culture and this really shows your privilege and racism if your response to this post was “and you made this about race? But you still can’t ignore actual scientific data. I’m not saying that all practices need to stop using shells, but literally just discourage/ limit using shells. Sure, maybe when those traditions were created, they weren’t making much of a dent, because they were in low populated areas and not many people visited. But nowadays with the population and utter lack of care form tourists in costal areas like the Caribbean, Hawaii, Florida, or Seychelles? It’s a problem due to the massive influx of visitors. (28.7 million in the Caribbean, 8.3 million visitors in Hawaii, 98 million in Florida, 350,000 in Seychelles) So all the message was asking was to discourage the use of shells in your posts due to the fact that the ocean is DYING.
