“Well that was a lucky break for you then wasn’t it?” She asked with a chuckle. It often surprised people because of her spotless reputation, that she could be quite adventurous at times. “That’s fair enough. People don’t need to know your business. Which I’m sure is a hell of a lot easier to keep to yourself in the city than in a town like this. Everyone here is bored out of their minds just looking for excitement any way possible.” That was her take on it at least, it was the only reason she could fathom people caring about what anyone else was up to.
beck chuckled and tilted his head to look up at the sky. one nice thing about being out of the city was just how many stars he could see. there weren’t many blinding lights drowning them out of the black velvet blanket of space. “yeah, you could say that,” he answered, still stargazing. “honestly, it’ll be nice to have a change of pace from the city chaos, gossip or not.” finally bringing his eyes away from the stars, beck raised a curious brow at savannah. “do you think there will be any gossip about you and me being behind this shack?” he asked, a hint of a smirk on his face.
