A Falco Grice x Reader Oneshot

falco knew it was too good to be true. he knew getting out of this war without at least one death of someone close to him was too good to be true. honey brown orbs stared in shock as he watched your small body slouch down in pain; your white marleyan uniform turning a crimson red, right where your heart was. letting out a loud cry in pain, you fell right to your knees, hands pressed to your chest as blood poured out of your wound.
why wasn’t he running to you at an instant? falco had no idea. he could only stare in shock as colt and porco shot at the traitor who had shot you with their gun. falco could only stare in anger as he watched the traitors body fall right beside your small form.
“y-y/n..” falco finally whispered out, colt gazed towards his younger brother, honey brown orbs widening in shock. “f-falco..” he whispered sadly as he watched his little brother rushing right towards your lifeless body.
“colt! you gotta help her! please!” falco cried out, tears now ran down his face as gabi rushed right to falco’s side, eyes wide with shock as she stared at your lifeless bloodied form. falco continued to cry as colt kneeled down in front of the two children. “falco..” he whispered once again, gazing at his younger brother sadly. “s-she’s..i cant, she’s gone-“ colt choked out. he stared down at your lifeless form; tears running down his face. he couldn’t help but cry; colt and falco both knew you ever since you were a little baby, your parents always brought you around to play with falco. and now, here you are. lying dead in his brothers arms.
falco had continued to cry loudly, hugging your limp body and cradling your head close to his chest. “just you wait, y/n-“ he cried out. “i-ill avenge you..i-ill bring you peace, promise.” falco muttered out, sobbing loudly as he pressed his forehead against yours. he continued to sob as he gazed down at your beautiful face; sobbing quietly as he gently leaned down, pressing a soft kiss to your cold lips as you rested peacefully in falco’s arms.
