update: the next update for between friends is going to be a two-chapter flashback! but the drafts are currently on my husband’s laptop (and he’s currently in iceland without wifi). he’ll be back in a couple weeks, but also my university starts in a few weeks. would you like a short fic in the meantime? i’ve been itching to write a college/normal/shoujo-esque story for a while but i don’t have characters. would you all mind?

Ok so I discovered your fic two days ago and now I only have one chapter left (and yes I’ve read it at work) and I just wanted to say you have a wonderful grasp on their adulthood! It’s hard when there’s an age gap (I find those “wait until she’s 18” creepy too, and I DO like it when the age gap is there bc it brings so many other aspects to a relationship other than i like you, let’s date, let’s get married and have a baby). Do you have fic recs? I trust your judgment 100%

Oh my god, thank you so much! Sorry for the late reply also. I was actually planning to update before Christmas but I flew back home for the holidays and I kinda fell in love with an old time friend, funny enough lol. I’m back at law school though so :(And to be honest, I avoid reading other fics when I’m trying to write because I feel like I’m so easily influenced! I can’t remember much now but for the current chapters I’ve been taking inspiration from my life as well as shows I’m watching and mangas I’m reading lol. I do read a lot of shoujo set in high school though? But I think I just read those to see how teens would react versus how I (an adult) would react. However, I’ve been loving this one called Hare Kon and there’s this manwha called Jidokhage Kkeureoango Jidokhage Kiseuhago that just inspires me aesthetically! But thank you so much, you have no idea comments like these inspire me to write more!

To be honest, reviews make me so anxious. Granted, the majority I get is positive, but when I get a notification that I've gotten a review, it makes me feel so bad.

2 out of 6 sections are edited, and I'm so pleased with them. My last update was in December which is so long, but this is definitely going to be a long chapter to make up for it. I've already met the 7K mark for word count and that's only going to get bigger for the other four. I've already know what I want to write for the next chapter but finding time to write is different is so hard. I have a mock trial tomorrow but (ironically) my English class is killing me. Hopefully this can be done by this weekend. March has been a terrible month so far.
