(This was actually inspired by one of my recent dreams, where I saw these very characters in the same pose in a magazine. Although in my dream, the background had more of a vaporware aesthetic rather than the airier and lighter flowery one.)

P.S. I'm now on Instagram 😉 Not a lot there right now, but I'll be gradually posting my past and current art there. I can't promise I'll be too active, though.

I assisted the great animator Lee Miskin, who retired to teach his remaining years at Sheridan. Such an honor.

Went to NelsonSHIN Animation Art Museum!

Nelson Shin is a world-famous Korean animator. He was selected by George Lucas to build lightsaber settings for the Star Wars series. Afterwards, he was in charge of the production of <Pink Panther>, <GI Joe>, <Fantastic Four>, and <The Simpsons>, and helped direct animation works that Hasbro was involved in, such as the first generation of Transformers (commonly known as G1). After receiving some works from Marvel Studios, he returned to Korea and founded AKOM, became its president and leads the company. He also published <Animatoon>, a magazine specializing in animation.
