hello dearest reader, Jenna is filming a new movie (finest kind) and there are some pictures of her filming it. In those pictures she is wearing dr martens and I previously made a post about dr martens in Wednesday so I thought I would share the ones she’s wearing in this picture:
due to the style of the platform part of the boot it was easy to find :) she is wearing the Audrick platform boots!!! These have a retail price of €229 (around the same in US dollars) but im sure you could find them somewhere in a sale!!!
the platform part is 4cm (around 1.6 inch) and is made from soft and flexible leather!!!

my Wednesday S2 predictions !!!
Wednesday has to deal with the aftermath of Goody healing her (maybe she’s possessed by her?).
Xavier will continue to pursue Wednesday but she doesn’t show any interest in him.
Maybe a bit Xavier side plot? (Maybe something with his father or why he could draw the Hyde).
We’ll see more of Pugsley, Morticia and Gomez. I think Pugsley will even join her?
Enid will deal with the aftermath of finally wolfing out. Maybe we’ll see more of her family dynamic?
Yoko x Divina canon (pls Netflix i am begging). Also more screen time for them!
I do not think Wenclair will be canon in S2 just because we all know netflix…
I think we have three possible outcomes. No Wenclair but a S3 renewal. Wenclair canon but no S3. Wenclair canon and a S3. But the last one is very unlikely tbh.
The stalker is either someone we don’t know yet or its Yoko… i am begging for someone we don’t know I love Yoko way too much.
Wednesday definitely throws her phone out of the window in the first episode of S2.
We will definitely see more of Wednesday’s friendship (more like toleration) between Eugene, Enid and all the others.

The thing about Enid is, I went into this show expecting her to be on the level of obnoxiously cheery as the campers in Addams Family Values, and the same level of overbearing and bitchy. But in her very first scene, she proves to be more than just a comedic foil by backing off when she sees Wednesday recoiling from her offered hug. She recognizes that Wednesday isn’t comfortable with being hugged by her, and she immediately respects that.
Then she continues to be a likable contrast to Wednesday, making her disgust/disapproval for several of Wednesday’s antics known, but keeping the story about her pet scorpion in confidence, backing off again and again whenever Wednesday doesn’t want to hug her, and amending her statement about wanting Wednesday to cheer her team on by saying she can just glare from the shore instead. And she does tease Wednesday a little about being such a weirdo, but never with any malice.
Each little act of acceptance toward Wednesday’s oddities makes Enid a character that grows on you at the same time she’s growing on Wednesday. Because although she does get Wednesday out of her comfort zone, she also puts in effort to make Wednesday more comfortable in a new and strange setting.
The matching snoods is a really fun example of how she does both simultaneously, because it’s definitely NOT something Wednesday is into, but Enid had the consideration to make Wednesday’s black and not pink like hers. And as much as Wednesday finds the whole idea embarrassing, she can’t openly mock it to Enid’s face because she knows her heart’s in the right place, and she is genuinely a great friend whom she doesn’t want to hurt.
Wednesday is constantly pushed into doing things she doesn’t want to do, kept at a place where she doesn’t want to be, and bombarded with advances she doesn’t want to be bothered with, and Enid is the first person to let her choose what she wants to do. They’re like straight up the story of the girl who turns into a cat and runs away from all her potential suitors except for the one who never tries to catch her, and that’s a big part of what makes the scene where they finally do hug so great; because Enid has become someone who is so important to her that Wednesday hugs her because now she actually wants to.
wednesday’s so whipped for enid it’s comical like. “go apologize to thing” fine. “this crime board is gross i don’t want it in our room” yes ma’am. “you have to wear this goofy ass cat costume” give me the ears. “let’s wear our snoods!” whatever you want cara mia
the Wednesday series is so silly goofy for even IMPLYING that gomez and morticia wouldn't know how to cover up a murder properly, let alone that Wednesday would be unironically scandalised by learning her parents had killed someone. like...do the clowns writing this show actually understand the premise/ethos of The Addams Family? why does this show constantly have them allying with/grovelling at the feet of institutions?? why bother making a show about Wednesday and by extension the Addams family if you're not going to honour their competent oddness and satirical anti-establishment roots? and that's before we even get into the weird ass colourblind racism all throughout this show. I cannot believe there's a scene in this show where morticia addams, a white woman, tells a Black man he has "no idea what it's like not to be believed." I can't believe that the ringleader of the bullies who is bigotedly abusing the "outcasts" is a young Black boy. The antiblackness is insane. like, really? it's so obvious there are next to no poc in significant creative roles on this show which is so fucked considering they not only made Wednesday Latine, but made her ancestory an integral part of the series. I feel like a broken record at this point, but surface level diversity in casting means absolutely nothing so long as the people holding creative control are white. It's just elaborate puppetry, and too many of you fall for it everytime. All this show does is use actors or colour to pay lip-service to the "whitewashing" of history, while it the show itself is written and directed almost exclusively by white people. As far as I can tell there is one director of colour, Gandja Monteiro, who directs 2 mid season eps. Every single other person in creative decision making roles is white. It's an absolute JOKE.
i got this in my inbox a while ago and i have been wracking my brain trying to come up with a decent reply. this person makes SUCH a good point about the show and i totally agree. since tim burtons name is attached to the show i wasn't really that surprised since he's know to be kinda racist... there really has to be a change in the industry. not only for POC but also for LGBTQ and disabilities rep. Show with WLW and POC are constantly getting canceled and i'm honestly so tired of it.
back to the point of this persons message, i'd love to hear other peoples thoughts on this topic!
How would you like wenclair to become canon? Is there an idea you have that you hope the show does or a personal thought on what you wished would happen?
i don't really have one particular way i'd like to see it happen tbh. oh maybe they're like bickering and then they accidentally confess lol. I would also like a little bit of angst :D
I would also appreciate it if they didn't have any problems when they are together (as in miscommunication or jealousy over tyler or xavier) because i just want ONE happy sapphic couple !!! like is that so much to ask for???
also domestic moments (them just acting like a couple, casual affection, that kinda stuff)
