Hair length is CRAZY. And I’ve only got a couple weeks until my next retwist. I promise, no more pictures until then (I’m probably lying). Lmao in all seriousness, I really never thought my hair would be this long, it’s an absolute blessing, that’s for sure. I’m so proud to be black, despite all the pain that our race has been through, I still wouldn’t change who I am. Being black has blessed me with this hair, which, I know I’ve said this before, but…. When I was younger, some shitty barber in a barbershop told me that I’d never have dreads. That my hair doesn’t grow the right way and I can’t have dreads at all. So glad I didn’t take that advice forever, wish I would’ve started when he told me that, when I was in my teens. The point of me saying all this is: be grateful and celebrate who you are, and who you’ve become. Love yourself despite what people tell you, and don’t let anybody tell you what to do with your body. This show is… incredible. So freaking awesome. So underrated, barely hear anyone talking about it! I’m already completely emotionally invested in this show. Whatever happens next I might cry, cheer, or break something. It’s so good. It’s definitely got that Cowboy Bebop feel to it for sure, not the story line, but definitely the vibes and the main character being an underrated and unexpected badass. My friend Corey told me to watch this, and he never misses when he recommends an anime to me.
