Yippe!!! I'll probably come back and add to this later, but this is just what I currently have in my notes app and what I remember off the top of my head
-Lucine (D12 Prep Team) has a younger brother, Cyrus
- Volt likely sacrifices himself for Jules in an attempt to be brave and repay her for all the times she protected him growing up
- When Jules is reaped, she's stoic, but when Volt get reaped right after her, she breaks down crying and screaming saying that they can't do that.
- Jules and Volt have a younger sibling, so young that they might not even realize that they ever had older siblings since they were so young when Jules and Volt died in the games. Their mother is recently deceased and their father is sort of a deadbeat bc of the grief (sorta like Asterid)
- Cassius is the bastard child of a high ranking peacekeeper from the Capitol and a semi wealthy citizen of D2, which explains a lot about him as a character and his mentality/beliefs
- Selene has a twin brother ( Sol, Silvanus, Salvius, Severus, possibly) + Cass is undecided on who he likes even tho he has his whole secretly envious thing with them
- Xochitl's name is horribly mispronounced during the reaping because I feel like someone from the Capitol wouldn't be able to say it without butchering it like crazy. Poor girl is already miserable and this just adds to it
-Alder is sort of like Maysilee in a sense. from the "upper class" of his district, seen as mean, scary and bitchy, but has a heart and is so deeply angry at the way things are which presents itself as bitterness and an overall off-putting personality
-Pauline's mother sort of prepared her for the games in a way since she understood that her daughter would be at a disadvantage due to her having rather poor eyesight as a side effect of Pauline's albinism. Not a career, but prepared in her own sort of way
- Vivienne is the eldest daughter, pressured into volunteering in order to save her family who's status has been giving way for some time now. She's has family members volunteer in the past, but most died in the games, except maybe a distant cousin, but that was a while ago.
- Reed's parents are school teachers that were actors on their youth. They still play a part in their local, small, slightly rundown makeshift theater in their free time. Reed spends a his free time there when he isn't focused on his academics and is adored by school faculty and theater goers and members alike. He's talented, passionate, and driven for a better future.
- Rayon had both parents until he was about 10 when both passed in a factory accident, was then put into a community home/orphanage since there was no one else to take him in. Despite the harsh conditions, he holds onto hope for better days. Befriends an older boy who becomes a brother to him, though by the time of the 52nd games he's too old to volunteer in Rayon's place.
- Cy grew up in a religiously paranoid household but also not really since religion as we know doesn't really exist in Panem, but I imagine it persists and evolves to some degree in some places. Her father died when she was young so she and her mother had to move in with some relatives to manage. Even though she grew up in a full house, she was very alone due to her family's paranoia. Cy often escapes into elaborate stories she creates in her head or in the rare book she gets her hands on.
- Maria makes jewelry with imperfect pearls she gets from tossed clams
- Sebastian has vitiligo. He also has a boyfriend/sorta situationship back home. I like to think that they weren't quite official and never got to make it such since Sebastian goes into the games. One of his biggest regrets is not confessing during their goodbye/not kissing his lover one last time
- Jules and Volt make a few allies, but Jules only does so in order to use the others to get Volt back home. She will kill if they turn on her first, but she hopes they turn on each other first so she doesn't have to. That or mutts get them.
