She's a hurricane.

I can remember the way her fingers slid across my skin, and the taste of her lips. I remember how the feeling radiated through my body like being struck by lightning. I can remember our first night and planning for the future. I can remember driving in the car and losing focus of the road because I couldn’t take my eyes off her. She should know she’s needed, wanted, and indispensable. She could eat up all my free time easily because she’s my goddamn addiction. I’ll never quit. I want to be her favorite hiding place. The one she can tell all her secrets to and know I’ll guard them with my life. She has been, and will forever be, the hurricane in my chest. I’m just trying to catch my breath. There are people who want her, but I need her, the way you need oxygen to live. She is a slide show in my mind that is set on repeat, and I don’t want to miss a second. You aren’t guaranteed tomorrow so I’ll be damned if I don’t take this leap of faith, but I want her to take it with me. In life you meet one person who drastically changes your life. This person puts color in your world and pushes you to be better. She’s all that and more. She’s my sleep deprivation and the reason my face hurts from laughing. She brings out the best in me. It’s never too late to live the life you’ve imagined, and I’ve imagined it with her. Every damn day. She’s the bow to my arrow, propelling me forward. I’ve always felt ordinary, but she makes me feel special. She’s a good one, and I plan on keeping her. I love her, more than she knows or could possibly fathom, and she’s not even mine. But I’m ready to chase the storm.

I've been experiencing life and finding myself as a person as well as growing my family(:.
