Welp, I'm logging out of this blog for hopefully the last time. Goodbye everyone.
So I'm going to be leaving this blog. I'll still have it up so that people can browse my tabs for resources and stuff, but I'm leaving it.
Maybe my car can be salvaged if I just take off all the broken metal, replace the windshield, and make it into a convertible.
I really hate this website.
Me: *asks people not to debate me on a post because I'm just using my blog to blog about my thoughts not so that I can debate with people*

I think the only people who argue that Calvinism leads to an empty and emotionless religiosity are people who left Calvinism because they personally experienced that. Listen, just because you didn't apply good doctrine rightly to your life doesn't make Calvinism a cold doctrine that removes delight from the believer. Weighty truths that are mishandled and not applied properly are no less true because of it. I've been through seasons where I've been a bitter emotionally drained Calvinist, but those were just seasons, and they had a lot more to do with my hostility to God than with the Doctrines of Grace.

=/ Prayers for this tough situation, Rob. Hope you didn’t sustain any major injuries.
Thanks. By God's grace I wasn't hurt. I got a tiny little scratch on my thumb and wrist, and my ankle is a little sore, but other than that the main damage is emotional. I keep seeing and feeling it happen again and it's kind of unnerving. But it taught me how fragile life is and how little control I have over it, so that's good.

Just so you guys know, due to the fact that I almost died and have been working all day, I'm not going to respond to anyone on this Sola Scriptura thing...so ya know.

Good times.
No seriously, I almost died in a car crash.
So while you guys were debating, I almost died in a car crash that totalled my car, so fun.
To say that the Scriptures are insufficient and to engage in argumentation that 'well, everyone has their own interpretations' is to completely remove the active work of the Holy Spirit in the reading and understanding of the Word, and that is quite incredibly insulting to God.
