So I saw a post on twitter and I asked one of the furries where they got these cool animal straws from. They got it from 7-Eleven. Since it was pretty cool, I want to get one. So I went down to 7-Eleven today to get one.

The reason why I got it is because I want to collect it and use it for the drinks when I go to the Fur-cons. Plus It was pretty cool.

So I bought the straw and went home. Then I took a photo of it and post it on twitter. After 5 minutes later, The furries saw the post then they ask me where to get those straws from. I told them “7/11.” After that, more furries faved it and reblogged it. Then a couple hours later. I went back on twitter and I saw over 30 likes from that post. Which I was a bit surprised. Usually I don’t get much faves and reblogs from the stuff I post on twitter.

One of my close friends are trying to get into the furry fandom. Is there anything I need to know before I do?

Wolfkins: RUN! You’ll NEVER SURVIVE IN THIS FANDOM! They’re all scary and there is no hope for survival. you’ll be lucky if you live 3 weeks in the furry fandom!

PocketFox: Don’t listen to that fucking loser, we are the best fandom there ever was. I think the most important thing a new fur should know, is that there’s nothing specific you have to do in order to be a part of the fandom. So much as even saying you’re a fur is enough for the fandom to accept you as a part of our big, loving, furry family :3 Some would argue, though, that a good first step would be to create a fursona (a representation of you as an anthropomorphic character.).

I think that Wolfkinz is only joking(pocketfox)...anyway. That is what i think the first step should be. What do you think you would be if you were an animal...or what do you want to be? the fandom is about doing things that humans never thought possible.
