Got a 28 day heart monitor 8 weeks ago and still haven’t got my results yet 🫩

All the reviews of the monitor said they waited 2 to even 6 or 8 months until they finally got the call that their results came back lol

I’ve been feeling a lil ✨smth✨ w my heart today and I really wanna know what it is 😩

Honestly, the heart monitors are really annoying, but I wish you the best. It is not going to be fun wearing a heart monitor.

I ended up only wearing it for probably 21 of the 28 days 😅 The ecg stickers were so annoying and ripped off a bit of my skin I hated it

And some days it just wouldn’t connect to my heart for no reason 🤷🏻‍♀️ also the waves would go out of control whenever I walked or was in the train/car lol I’m very skeptics about how effective it even was

I did have a mini “episode” (mild chest pain + slight heavy breathing?) while I was wearing it though so hopefully they caught it and can tell me what it is… when they finally get back to me about the results 😒

Yeah omg why can’t they make it gentler on the skin 😭😭😭 Apparently mine were meant to last the whole 28 days but it started peeling and getting really itchy by day 5 🫩 Ripping the old ones off and replacing them with a new one was a nightmare

Honestly, I’m trying to figure out my other health problem before jumping to my heart again because I’m still not 100% sure about my heart but they did place it under something called them sinus tachycardia. I’ve never heard of it before but it just gives you random palpitations if you get too hot if you’re moving too much if you get excited or sad it basically feels like your heart’s gonna implode

And oh my god that adhesive is terrible. I feel so bad for you that you have to wear for so long. I only had to wear mine for a week or two.

I did do a 24 hour one first and then they wanted me to do further testing, hence the 28 day one 😅 (Everything was free though, I’m so thankful for the Aussie healthcare system)

I think the monitor I did was testing to see if we can rule out sinus tachycardia 🤔

It’s not as common, but it is a good possibility that they could’ve ruled it out

Basically what it means is your heart has to work 2 times harder to keep up with everything it’s trying to over compensate for something that’s not there. It just wants to be an overachiever. That’s how it was explained to me.
