why oh why did he decide to take on this mission with garfield? if it could even be called that — a food mission. the clone had forgotten just how clumsy the other could be at times. despite the fact they were supposed to be keeping a low profile, staying out of any trouble and pretending to be powerless, boring. the two had wound up getting chased by sentinels. if only someone else were there to stop this mess from even happening in the first place.
whizzing around the corner, kon spotted the green figure and raced over to him, “talk about keeping a low profile, the hell are you doing?!” his eyes widened, exclaiming his words as he kept a lookout for the sentinels. with a sigh, he turned back to the building. “screw it.” their identities had already been exposed, so kon glided down through the doorway gar had just smashed through, and with a groan, he began searching the space for his green friend. “GAR,” he returned with obvious frustration, “yeah — i’m here, wish i wasn’t.” he mumbled the last part to himself, before continuing. “where you hiding? we gotta get outta here, asap. unless you wanna fight those giant robocops… then be my guest.”
“back here,” gar hissed out, head peeking out from around the countertop to nod kon over in his direction. shuffling over to make space for the other, he kept an ear out, frowning as he waited for any sound. “yeah, because that sounds like a great idea,” he grumbled sarcastically, eyes shooting around the room. “i mean... the others might kill us for drawing more attention, but...” his eyes rise towards the ceiling, offering a shrug. “those things definitely can’t fly... right?”
