I’m learning there is no destination to self mastery; for it is a life pursuit of endless lessons. Every time I think I’m getting “there”, something may occur to which I’m aware/called out about an attribute I don’t want attached to me.

Yet when I sit with myself long enough, I too am practicing the embrace for the journey of creating [more] distance between where I was and where I want to be. It’s an humbling thing: giving yourself grace to evolve and stripping the fake ideal of required perfection.
