If you dont know, a panic disorder is a specific disorder where you have random and/or easily triggered panic attacks. I was diagnosed with this disorder when I was 15 or 16, and I've noticed some people are bad with helping those with this.. So here's this!

Panic attacks are extremely difficult for all parties. For example, I can't be in loud areas unless I mentally prepare myself for it and take medication. It's also stressful having to leave something you enjoy just to take care of me 😅

Signs that Im falling into a panic attack is usually when I grow quiet or make squeaking noise before going into self harm while rocking myself back and forth.

When I say panic attacks are draining, I mean they are draining. Its like having someone sit on your chest while multiple people stare at you. You hate your skin so you try desperately to claw it off not even realizing your hurting yourself. It feels like hell, but thats just me, I'm sure it feels different aswell as different symptoms for everyone.

Please know that it's aswell very, very stressful. Yelling at the person for having a panic attack or showing that you are frustrated or angry only makes them more scared and makes the attack last longer. Please, be patient and understand their situation. My panic attacks usually last up to 1-2 hours.

Again, this is only based on my and a few friends panic attacks, everyone is different and that's okay♡
