To get this curly look after hair is washed and twisted or palm rolled, the hair is then grouped and braided and held in place with rubber bands and then dried under a hair dryer or it can be allowed to naturally dry.

Beautiful Dreadlocks/ All Natural Hair

Beautiful Dreadlocks Dreadlocks are a natural way of allowing the hair to grow without chemicals. Natural locs are formed by rolling or twisting the hair between the fingers. Contrary to belief dreadlocks does not mean your hair is dirty, in fact the more the hair is maintained and washed the better it strives and the more pleasing the dreadlocks look. Dreadlocks Methods Finger or combing method: this method is used to start locs for short hair, the hair is sectioned out and twisted with a comb or fingers and a hair locking product to help the hair lock up. Back combing method: In this method the hair is sectioned out about an inch for each dread, the hair is then pushed back or up where it bunches up and then it is twisted and locked with a locking product and rubber bands. Twist method: the twisting method is suited for that is a bit longer, it involves sectioning the hair and the twisting the strands in a clockwise direction, a locking product or wax is used to hold the twist and a rubber band is added to the end of the hair to allow the hair to stay in place and lock-up. Palm rolling method: this method is used on longer hair or hair that has already locked. Palm rolling is the usual method for maintaining or tightening up the new growth.
