A big goal of mine as a new year resolution is to liquid fast , so I can have water , coffe and juice but no food
I want to try and do this for as long as I can , it’s possible to do it for a year but I think my parents might catch on if I do that lol , so if you like my idea I think you should join me xoxo barbie
Day 4: water fast
So I am currently at 160.2!! But I still ate dinner yesterday. Looks like a metabolism boost. Not complaining tho lol
18 tips that work for me
( That I’ve gathered over the years and frequently use :> )
1. Avoid eating in front of distractions. Music is fine, but your main focus should always be the food in front of you.
2. Find out what works for you. Some people can fast for days and be fine, for others doing this ends up in a binge. Don’t set yourself up for failure.
3. Slowly but surely push yourself. Make little changes that eventually contribute to a big change.
4. Instead of counting how many times you chew or waiting a long time between bites, try chewing your food until it’s mush/dissolved. It has the same effect but it’s less tedious :D
5. Set higher cal days every now and again. It’ll keep your metabolism on its toes and can prevent binges :>
6. I saw a tip somewhere that claimed your stomach is only the size of your fist, therefore it only takes a handful of food to fill it comfortably. I remember that for every meal.
7. Keep yourself occupied with exercise. Exercising reduces appetite and assists in weight loss (and it doesn’t have to be super intense or anything! Even light exercise helps :> )
8. Drinking warm water keeps you full while cold water burns calories.
9. Wear big, loose clothing so people don’t notice your weight loss.
10. If you’re being forced to eat, hide the food in your pockets.
11. If you’re doing a high intensity workout, do it on an empty stomach! It prevents the chances of you getting a stomach ache and your stomach doesn’t make that weird sloshing sound when you workout.
12. Eat bigger meals in the morning and decrease as time goes on. Eating a bigger meal in the morning gives your body ample time to burn off the calories, and by the next day you won’t have to worry about food weight showing up on the scale because you ate such a small dinner : D
(Example: Oatmeal in the morning, half an apple for lunch, and soup for dinner)
13. If you have a fitness tracker, cut the number of calories you burn during a workout in half. Fitness trackers tend to overestimate by a lot, so doing this makes it a lot more accurate to the number of calories you *actually* burned during a workout.
14. Fidget. Like, a fuckton. Fidgeting burns calories and, while maybe not as much as doing a workout would burn, can really add up over time.
15. If you don’t feel motivated to workout, even if you know you should, try doing a light workout/stretches at first! It’ll get you at least moving and will likely motivate you to workout.
16. Get outside. It doesn’t even have to be to do something active, being outside just reduces appetite (for me at least :> )
17. Frequent the ed side of tumblr. I found that when I would take HOURS out of my day to look at thinspo or other related posts I would binge far less and have much more self control.
18. Drink a LOT of water. I drink 24oz before noon and 24oz after. It keeps me so incredibly full.
as soon as I deleted tumbler I went back into a never ending binge and all the progress I made went down the drain , so I’m back , my old account got reported so here I am ready to get back on the scale
