books are kinda cool. dressing up for tea is wonderful. bathroom writing can be really inspirational sometimes. snowboarding is the embodiment of freedom. the kitchen is more than about food. learning how to not underestimate anything. i won't allow myself to miss you. upside down muffin pans makes cookies bowls. homophobia: the fear that gay man will treat you the same way you treat woman. sleep on it. if the devil is real, then god must be too. fall in love while doing something you love. i will forget you one day, maybe not today, not tomorrow, but one day. a part of my heart will always be in the east.
when was the last time i posted something on here?
years ago!
somethings have changed, but more than a few things are still the same. i’m still the yoga-obessessed, tea-loving, OCD girl with messy hair and awkward smile.
the blog i update the most on is called avecqueen-s (incase anyone is interested).
I think I should pay a final tribut to this blog. A little hidden secret of mine for the past three years. There were times where I took on adventures I never thought I would be interested in, became obessed about the kitchen and family dinners, ranted on about boys that I don't even remember their faces anymore. Other times where I would write with tears still in my eyes, make life decisions with that Magic8 Ball app on the right corner of my screen, even documenting my brief bulimic period that went hand in hand with one of the coldest winters I've ever experienced (metaphorically and literally).
I made it when the pen couldn't keep up with all the things that was going on through my head and I needed a place to vent. Venting to strangers seems like something I'm almost too good at. That has always been the problem with me, hasn't it? The inability to actually talk about myself with the poeple already in my life. Sometimes I wish strangers would always stay strangers; its so easy to love a stranger when they play no role in your life except in a very private little corner. Foolish. I've been trying to be better about this, I really have been, but progress is slow.
Tonight i was shaken into a reality I don't particularly enjoy and I decided to move on from this blog permanently and say final farewells.
Being generous, smart, and kind is so much more important than having perfectly porportioned hour glass figure, that Marc Jacobs purse, or having a boyfriend with an 8pack.
I met a pretty cute guy today at the restaurant where I used to work. He’s Parisian French (don’t judge me, it’s a phase I’m going through) and also just finished his law degree. It’s crazy since he’s in international business right now and also doing a year abroad in Beijing soon!
He just made my visit to work a lot more interesting. He’s very vocal; kinda like one of my of old roomies but smarter. He recommended a few French books for me to read, I downloaded wechat on his phone so we can keep in touch.
Fascinating conversations with attractive people in the most mundane places. I like.
Maybe a week stuck in this town won’t be as boring as I thought it would be.
met up with a few friends at their new place and started sipping on vokda and cranberry at 5pm - -... i was not impressed
they wanted to go bar hopping (an activity i have never participated in throughout my entire university career, so def not into that now that i've graduated)
ordered pizza and wings... stuffed my face
decided to leave around 10pm and made shopping plans for tomorrow
drove a friend to this girl's place... it was this girl he doesn't even remember but they've been texting back and forth (WTF is it with guys and txting/meeting up with random girls just for a hook up?! are you not scared of STDs?)
home by 10:30pm, chilling in front of tv with face mask on...
I think I'm going to start a new blog.. I never thought I would have to come to this. This blog was my comforting escape for the longest time and all my deepest secrets has been shared with a world of wonderful strangers... I just need a new start. Maybe I'll just go on hiatus for a bit...
