Akuma was tidying her room up a bit and quickly turned her head to the sound...❝Eh...?❞ she tilts her head curiously, dropping whatever she was doing to slowly open the closet.

*...It was a cat... a cat with a pink coat. And two tails. How unusual.... It only starts licking its paws to clean them before looking up at her.*

"mreow." *..it was surprisingly calm..?*

❝....Kitty?❞ she picks it up, tilting her head to the side. How did this cat get in her closet when she's left it closed all day? Wait...is this one of Rui's cats she didn't know about? ❝Oh no! I gotta take you to rui!❞ Akuma blinks. She NOW only realized that it was a pink cat. Do pink cats exist? Was it dyed...? It looks natural! And two tails... ❝...Wait. Are you some sort of demon cat? ❞ she asked, as if the cat would answer.

*it seemed offended that akuma would suggest a thing, hissing and angrily clawing at her face for doing so. It's usually a calm cat..but not right now. Because it took akuma's words personally. It is not a man eating cat.*

❝Ow! Ow...! I'm sorry kitty! ❞Akuma winces, immediately placing it on the ground. ❝i didn't mean to be mean to you...!❞ she apologized, her face regenerating slowly. She clasped her hands together, her eyes sad. She doesn't know how to handle cats.

*the cat retracts its claws, looking up at Akuma. It gets up to rub against her legs, almost apologetic because it saw her very saddened expression.* "mreow..." *It purrs.*

❝umm...are you hungry, kitty?❞ the cat wasn't gonna answer, so whatever meow would be taken as a yes anyways. But...what if Rui didn't want another cat....? Oh well! She can just keep the kitty secret! ❝....hide here! ❞ she hums, placing the kitten back into the closet.

She was on her way to find Rui. ❝ @rui-ayaki-lower5 ...do you have cat food? No reason, of course hehe...!❞ Akuma was your average bad liar.

"Normal cat food?" *Rui asked looking up from tying a tag onto a wrapped box thinking for a moment* "I believe so, did you happen to find a feline friend?" *he asked though he was pretty sure he already knew the answer. He had noticed the small beads of blood on her face left over from where she had been scratched and had heard the cat meowing. He was rather fond of cats considering how much he doted on the ones the family already has, he wouldn't mind another*

❝...Yeah..I did...❞ she said sheepishly, looking down at her feet. Rui must be an expert on cats.. considering he has some, so she decides to ask.. ❝Are cats supposed to have pink fur and two tails..cuz this cat randomly spawned in my closet — and is really weird. And mean.❞

"Alright good to know..." *He listened as she asked her question and looked a bit puzzled. He knew that demon cats and cat spirits can be different colors, but the twin tails sounded like a specific type of Yokai that he had read about a fair few times before* "Hm? That sounds like a Nekomata yokai, they are cat spirits and some can technically be demons from the spirit world, they tend to be a bit testy when they interact with people they don't know yet...And it just randomly appeared in your closet when you found it?"

❝Yeaah...It did. I don't think it likes me, too. It scratched me for no reason and I didn't like it!❞ she pouts, this cat...was very annoying! But also kind of cute, so she wanted to keep it? Would the cat even allow that? ❝..It has to be a demon spirit...thingy! It's too mean.❞

"Not necessarily, much like most other Yokai you have to be very careful of what you say or do to them or they will get angry and they are quite powerful, kind of like how one would behave around Muzan-sama...would you mind telling me everything that happened before you came to find me?" *He asked calmly, though inside he was rather excited to meet a cat spirit since thus far he had only seen the kodama yokai that hung out in the trees and he thought that they got along alright*

Entire cities are basically underwater. Cities like Lageado, the state capital Porto Alegre, Canoas. Over 30 thousand people are displaced because their homes have been destroyed. Many more families have been affected.
