I’ve seen a few fanart pieces where Melon disembowels (cuts or pulls his guts out) himself and I can see him doing that.

Reason why I say this is because Melon is…Well, Melon! As much as he may be suicidal or fantasies about suicide or self harm, he also lives off of scaring people and making them uncomfortable.

It’s not that he wants attention, he simply embraces that others find him unsettling (be it due to him being a carnivore herbivore hybrid or by him being a serial killer) and further validates him as ‘one of a kind’.

Forget the ‘two sides of the same coin’ phrase, he IS the coin! 🪙🍈

Just woke up from a Beastars alternative final season dream. Feel free to use how ever you see fit!

- Legoshi, Bill, Louis, Haru and the 701 dogs are investigating a series of murders and Riz escaped prison to help them.

- Melon goes to a…Um, ‘sexual gathering’ thing to prove to himself that he’s not broken. Ends up getting triggered by everything and retraumatized instead.

- Part of the city is destroyed and everyone is dealing with the aftermath of it.

- The Shishigumi and several other people from the Black Market have been captured and are in cells/cages by an unknown assailant.

- Louis is a secret agent/private investigator who goes to the Black Market to look for missing people.

- Something about a father figure being murdered and wanting closure. Either Legoshi or Melon, I don’t remember anymore.
