the things being written about joe burrow and that were said to him by so called “bengals fans” are truly disheartening because when he came back and the bengals were winning he would be a god, yall would be loving him, praising him, kissing the ground that he walks on. his postgame presser was heartbreaking because of course he’ll never lay blame to anyone but himself but yikes is it concerning to see him that down. what’s even worse is yes joe didn’t play his best today, but this game was NOT on him. the defense gave up 24 points. the defense constantly lets this team down and the offense always has to play to outscore the mistakes the defense is always making. zac taylor is undoubtedly one of the worst play callers in the league right now. his lack of accountability for HIMSELF is hurting this team the most and the more the FO continues to ignore the more it will continue to poison this team and truly it’s spreading through this team like a fucking cancer. yes, joe burrow does not look happy playing football right now. IT IS OKAY TO ADMIT THAT! whats not okay is trying to say oh it’s his relationship or oh it’s his personal life or this that and the third. clearly not winning is why he’s unhappy. we’re talking about a dude who lives eats and fucking breathes football. he cut off his own fucking cast just to get himself started with his rehab. he knocked two months off his recovery time. he’s a national champion, a heisman winner, 2x comeback player of the year. he likes winning and he doesn’t like to lose and he’s coming back from a pretty bad injury to an already bad season that’s not going any better and he himself can’t seem to make it better. and if you’ve been a fan of joe burrow for as long as most have you know he likes to be superman and do it all himself so yes it probably sucks that he fought back so hard to help the team and to try to win and they still aren’t winning. would you be happy? i know i wouldn’t. also mental health is HUGE in athletes. so huge. remember that as you shit on this man whose already going through it as it is
