The puppy scoffed, brown hues widened over towards the female twin in a state of disbelief. Sounds like the little girl did not know that dogs CAN be different from one another. Many liked to get dirty, but some (LIKE HER) could say otherwise. Colette rather have her fur all silky smooth, where it can shine in the sun’s warm light. The thought of getting mud all over sounded absolutely atrocious! There was no way in the world that she was fetching that dirty thing. It could stay there for all she cared.
However, the gentle touch on the head roused her from the horrible outcomes if she was forced to go get it. Fur all clumped together, ears tangled, collar stained...yuck....just one big mess that sent shivers of horror through her body. Tilting her gaze upwards, the little puppy panted happily up at his reassuring words. Thankfully, somebody understood her dilemma! Bobtail wagged while she promptly tilted her head back and licked the palm of his hand to say thank you.
Although she wasn’t ANGRY at Karuha. In fact, the female reminded Colette of her own little brother, Scamp. The little girl just needed to know that the puppy was different from what she assumed. Gaze flicked back and forth between the rambunctious one holding out the ball and the quiet one reaching his arms out for an escape route. Raising a brow , an idea finally came to mind several heartbeats later. Colette chose neither. Standing on all fours, she trotted towards the bird bath and gazed over to Karuha, barking to gain their attention and wagging her tail, proud of her idea. “Will you wash it before we play? Please? Just throw it away from the mud this time..”
