“Poor dear are you lost?”

Ashlynn inquired as she carefully got on her knee’s to be eye level with the dog before reaching out a hand to allow the animal to familiarize herself with her scent. Who would leave or allow such a lovely dog to wander these streets alone? Did she have any owners perhaps? Well there was only one way to figure that out and that was to ask the dog itself. Green eyes shifted from left to right to make sure no one was around to see her have a conversation with a dog. After all couldn’t have the locals around here think she was nuts or that she was sick. Once she saw there was no one around for the time being her attention quickly shifted back to the canine.

“It’s alright you can tell me.”

       Oh, what a beautiful dog! The sight of such good breeding is rare for a slums girl, and Aerith finds herself rather amused by the similarity in soft, dark ears that seem to mimic the hair that falls in curls against Aerith’s collarbone.

       But, for having been raised in the slums, Aerith still carries an old, ingrained fear of dogs, even sweet looking ones like this.

Giggling, Colette bounded over to her mother and climbed on top of her back easily. On top Lady’s head, two front  paws were simply placed for balance while her bobtail wagged to and fro. However, long soft ears were now in her mother’s line of sight due to the fact the puppy was gazing down at her.                     “Guess who!”
