Lyanna’s eyebrows raised slightly at his attempts to hide and act like he had been doing nothing. Sure, she hadn’t seen anything like it. But she comes from a world where dragons existed and the Valyrians had been known to have a sort of sorcery, so she was actually pleased to see the man practice it.
“There is no need to hide, I saw.” Lyanna told him, though her tone was a bit soft. “You have nothing to be worried about.”
DEAD LADIES CLUB: appearance and personality ( mbti )
— lyanna stark, she-wolf of winterfell, estp
“Well, sit. It’s a long story.” Lyanna sighed lightly. “A few years ago, the crown prince of my home, Rhaegar, won a tournament. He crowned me, instead of his wife, the Queen of Love and Beauty. After that, I actually got to talk to him and know him. I knew it was wrong, he was married with children but I loved him. I didn’t know it then but he was obsessed with a prophecy, that he needs to have three children, he already had two. I ran off with him and got married after he annulled his marriage.”
“The pride of the man I was promised to was so hurt, he started a war. To him, I must’ve been kidnapped, it was unfathomable that I could love someone else. During the war, I had a son. Rhaegar wanted a daughter for the prophecy, but I wanted a boy. Regardless, we named him Aegon. But, Rhaegar was killed before he was born by the man I was promised to. My brother, Ned, found me just before I died. I made him promise that he would protect Aegon, he would die if he didn’t. He promised, but I have no idea if either of them are alright.”
“You saw her beauty, but not the iron underneath.”
Lyanna looked down at the crown of winter roses, now long dead. She thought the crown was still in her own world, but it managed to travel with her and it had been unknown to her until now. Memories of the fateful day at Harrenhal came flooding back to her, until Rey came in.
“Rey...Did I ever tell you about Rhaegar? Or Aegon?”

He loved her…
“That fact seems to be a constant in every world, unfortunately.” Lyanna shrugged lightly. “I know she is, she has shown me. Though, I am a bit confused still about the force.” She didn’t even think to explain that Rey isn’t her daughter by blood, Rey’s her daughter and that’s that. “Your nephew sounds like a great man. From what you’ve told me, he seems like my brother.”
“Perhaps it does. If my father has taught me anything, it’s that everyone’s opinion matters.” The princess reassured him. “Rey, my daughter.” Unknown to her, Luke knew Rey. “Why is it a surprise that he would be the hero? Is he not usually like that?”
“My apologies, I did not mean to disturb you.” Lyanna opened the door to see him. Anything she was going to ask, disappeared when she saw the look on his face. Being as candid and outspoken as she is, she had to ask. “Are you alright?”
“Oh, of course it does. I was a bit afraid that you thought I was always crying or angry, or both.” Lyanna admitted.
“Ah, alright.” Lyanna nodded. “I think it’d look on you. Does this town have a place to go to cut hair?” She still was confused a bit on how this world worked.
“If my memory isn’t failing me now, I do think this is the first time we are seeing each other without either of us being in some kind of distress?” Lyanna looked up at him. “It’s a miracle.”

Lyanna rose an eyebrow at her as she walked over to Rey. She ran a hand gently through her hair before speaking. “It’s very pretty, but I think you would look good with short hair. Why the sudden need for change?”
Raising an eyebrow at her warning look, Lyanna stifled a chuckle. “I have met more intimidating people than you, I am not afraid. But regardless, your secret is safe with me.” She dropped the eyebrow and looked at her curiously. “Where did you get them from?”
“I suppose it is, yes.” Lyanna replied, though with a raised eyebrow. She had watched what Caitlin had done, and it shocked her. “But, I’m more interested in what you just did.”
