A/U: Aurora and Mulan return to Storybrooke with Emma and Snow, where Mulan is pleasantly surprised to find an old friend; Belle. However, unbeknownst to the other three, Ruby has met Mulan before as well, and Aurora. Prior to Regina’s curse, Ruby came across Aurora in her cursed sleeping state and took it upon herself to protect the vulnerable princess. After many nights, Ruby was forced to leave Aurora and flee after Mulan found her, only for them to meet again some 28 years later.
