He shall cry to me, 'You are my father, my God and the rock of my salvation'
Psalms 89:26
FACE TO FACE | Planetshakers Official Lyric Video
“Jesus, I lay my defenses down, coz I just want you now”
I pray that we all come to know the joy of knowing that we are free. That we are no longer slaves, no longer in chains, that we have all being ransomed by God. Being saved is not enough. If I do not know the benefits that come with salvation then I know nothing. Then I don't have that joy that comes with the realisation that once I was a slave to a lot of things, to addictions that used cripple me, and now because of salvation, I am FREE.
The bible in Matthew 4:14-15 talks about how Jesus went to Peter’s house and found his mother-in-law sick. Jesus touched her and she was healed; she got up and began to wait on him.
The king James versions says that she began to minister unto them. When we receive Christ, I believe we do so because we are prompted to by the holy spirit. But how many of us; after being saved, after being touched by Jesus, begin to minister to God. Do we just say thank you and leave? Or do we actually wait on God? I believe to wait on God is to minister to him yes, but also availing yourself for his word, his kingdom, his calling for our lives. Making his works our first priority.
An old friend once said to me, that yes while we all have our different callings as defined in Corinthians, we are called first and foremost for the salvation of souls, we are called to be a witness of the kingdom of God to those that are not yet saved. That is how we are to minister and wait on God when we are touched by him.
We are to minister to him by honouring his sacrifice on the cross. Living for him and him alone. Living differently because we now know that we are no longer the old but a new creation, born of his spirit, clothed in love and grace.
Please do let me know of your views on waiting on God.
Unless the Lord builds the house, then the builders labor in in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand in vain. in vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat. For he grants sleep to those he loves
Psalms 127:1-2
We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive of every thought to make it OBEDIENT TO CHRIST.
2 Cor 10:5
Allow me to introduce you to my God.
I love it!
I absolutely love worship. No matter what the trial, no matter what my mood, if there’s one thing that sets me free, its definitely worship. When I worship I’m just reminded of God’s undying and unshakable love for me. His grace is not only sufficient but it’s abundant in all its ways. I am reminded of the cross and just how much was sacrificed for MY LIFE. Most importantly I am just reminded of how BEAUTIFUL Christ is. He will always be more than enough for me.

See here’s the thing, no amount of devotionals, Worship songs and praise songs, no amount of time spent reading gospel blogs on tumblr, no amount of time spent at church spent listening to sermons can ever be enough to substitute the word of God! The bible in Matthew 4 says that man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.
We are spirit beings first and foremost; by depriving ourselves, our spirits of the word of God, we are literally telling our spirits to fast and the sprit isn’t meant to fast, but the body is. Yes, all these things are essential for our spiritual journey but they are not the manna. David describes the word of God as a lamp unto his feet and a light unto his path. Without spending time in his word there can be not light to light the way in which we should walk. We are either sitting ducks waiting to be swept away by anything or we are literally walking in darkness. I urge you to spend time reading his word, not only reading it, listening to it, waiting to hear from him. God is his word and in his Word we have the truth. Wanting God without his word is just as good as saying you want chocolate ice cream without the chocolate flavor, you cannot have one without the other.
I’m trying to raise money to make sure my sister, Laura Eckstein, continues to get the care she needs to be able to be healthy again. All donations are going to be used to pay for the medical and travel expenses that have been accumulating for over a year.
No matter how large or how small of a donation you make, everything helps immensely. Whether you donate or not, please share this on every social media you use, and ask all of your family, friends, and followers to do the same.
I’ve made this post available to everyone on and off of Facebook, so you can share and it all of your friends will be able to see, and all of their friends will be able to see. Please share this with everyone you can, every donation helps.
Thank you for your time.

Just spoke to my mom, she told me my sister is doing worse than when we left Florida for Ohio last Tuesday. When we left, she was able to sit up for about 10 hours before she would have an episode and vomit, and all of the other symptons listed on the GoFundMe page, on 16 May, 2016 she was able to sit up for 9 hours and when sh had an episode it wasn’t a very bad one, but yesterday 17 May, 2016 she was only able to sit up 6 hours before she had an episode and this one was really bad. She’s still feeling terrible. And she hasn’t been getting any better yet.
I’m asking anyone that sees this to share it so word can spread and prayers and donations will be made for her. Please signal boost this so as many people as possible can see this.
Keeping your sister and your family in my prayers
One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life,to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his Temple.
Psalms 27:4
here’s to a God who doesn’t get exhausted
from the endless amount of times i’ve thought or said,
“tomorrow i’ll change.”
“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.”
[Lamentations 3:22-23]
Here’s to our God indeed!
Teach me, O Lord, to follow your decrees; then I will keep them to the end. Give me understanding, and I will keep your law and obey it with all my heart. Direct me in the path of your commands, for there I find delight.
