Comforting Butter Bundt Cake - Whole Process
The key to making sure your cake comes out with no cracking or
sticking is to make sure you throughly grease the pan. This step
is really important. Greasing every part of the pan, then dusting
it with flour, removing the excess will make all the difference.
This recipe does have a sauce you glaze the cake with, this is
done whilst the cake is still upside down. It is important to
grease the pan so when you finish glazing it and turn it upside
down it comes out easily without sticking.
Ingredients
CAKE
3 cups All Purpose Flour 1 teaspoon Baking Powder 1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda 1 teaspoon Salt 1 cup Butter (230g) 2 cups sugar 4 Eggs 2 teaspoon Vanilla Extract 1 cup Almond Milk
Glazing Sauce
1/2 Cup Unsalted Butter (cubes) 1 cup sugar 1/4 cup water 3 teaspoon vanilla extract
How to make the cake :
Preheat oven to 165 degrees C. Make sure to grease your pan well I
used butter and flour .
Mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together in a
bowl
In a separate bowl, beat the butter and sugar togetehr you can use
a mixer or wooden spoon whatever you have at home. You want to
have a light and fluffy consistancy. You can then add the eggs,
put in two to start, mix them in then add the other two until it is
all combined. Then add the vanilla extract and mix well to combine
everything.
Once you have mixed well, its time to add the flour mixture and
Almond milk. You want to do this in three parts. Add some of the
flour, mix then some of the milk. Mix that , then add a bit more
flour ,then more milk again mix that then add flour again. (
Begin and end with the flour for this)
Once that is done, pour the batter into the greased Bundt pan and
bake until a toothpick inserted halfway between the edge and center
comes out clean, 45 to 55 minutes.
How to make the Glaze sauce:
Once the cake has baked, you can start making the glaze sauce. Put
the butter, sugar, and water in a saucepan and warm it on a
medium-low heat until the butter is completely melted and all the
sugar is dissolved. The mixure should not be brought to boiling
hot point. Then remove it from the heat and add in the vanilla
extract and stir.
Poke holes all over the top of the cake. Then very slowly pour the
glaze all over the cake, allowing time for it to soak in before
adding more. Allow the cake to cool completely in then place it on
your cake stand.
