Reki arrives at school one day to find a new crowd hanging around Langa. It doesn't bother him at first. In fact, he's excited to see Langa getting along with some of the other students. But when those students start to pull Langa in a new direction, away from skating and towards the sport of soccer, adapting to that change proves difficult for Reki.

Writing Update - sk8week2k21

So I’ve missed three days of the challenge. The first was because I posted the last chapter of my then-ongoing fic, which was my priority for the day. The second was because I wasn’t feeling too great as a result of getting vaccinated. And today’s I missed because I was very busy :( 

So I decided, what the heck, I’m going to write pieces for the days that I like and post them late, even after sk8week2k21 is over. It’s good writing practice and it’s fun, and this way I won’t feel sad about missing a day. I love Reki and Langa and their crew too much to pass up on writing about them just because I’ve had things come up to distract me!

As per our last post regarding the postponement of #sk8week2k21 by a week in which we did a poll to hear your opinions about the matter, we’ve gathered your votes that resulted in 67 yes (to postpone) and 9 nos. So, based on the majority votes, we decided to postpone #sk8week2k21 by a week. This means that the event will now start on April 5th 2021 and it will end on April 11th 2021.

For anyone who is not familiar with this kind of events, #sk8week2k21 will be a week-long celebration centered on the original anime SK8 The Infinity, produced and animated by Studio Bones. It will be the perfect occasion to share edits, graphics, gifs, AMVs, fanfictions, fanarts and so on.

I’m going to have to push back the next chapter of this Sk8 the Infinity fic to take care of an assignment for one of my grad school classes tomorrow, but only by a day! Chapter 12 will definitely come out on Thursday if I can’t get to it by my usual upload time on Wednesday night.
