like im going to level with you all I don't think the fact that Kamala will now end up >15 million votes less than Biden has anything to do with her not being left enough or that the third parties took away her votes.

When Trump has already six more million votes than he did in 2016 and the political map looks like this, this is indicative of a large, cultural shift and i think the bedrock of that shift is misogyny plain and simple.

so much of this feels like a backlash against the last 60 years of women slowly achieving more rights and political, cultural and economic power. And it's extremely fucked that the only women continue safeguarding their rights is if the Democrats run a male presidential candidate
