🙌🏻 I feel honoured to be progressing in both my freelance career as well as my MAC career, although both can be very challenging in many ways, both require a lot of hard work, determination, passion and commitment in order to keep progressing and be successful in! The makeup industry is ever changing and constantly growing and for other industry professionals to be ignorant in thinking that a counter job isn't a valued job in the industry then you are very much mistaken. Without counter artists inspiring and teaching the public the basics of makeup, guiding them and giving them the confidence to experiment with makeup, there wouldn't be much of a business for freelancers to have. Customers are inspired to get their makeup done professionally as they want to achieve particular looks that they know they cannot achieve themselves. We need to share the makeup love!

Thank you to Zara for giving me the confidence to be creative and for inspiring me to be in this industry! This was way before I started my uni degree and Zara, as a makeup artist and hairdresser, gave me one on one mini training days to help me gain confidence and learn the basics! I then went on to assist her on lots of weddings! Thank you Zara for everything 💕
