Adventures of Pete & Pete Episode 4 Thoughts

Little Pete bonds with Dad/Don by sabotaging his rival and Ellen’s dad, Phil Hickle in their (annual?) race, starting a war between the two households. Big Pete, tired of not being able to meet with Ellen convinces Little Pete to end the war, while Phil surrenders on the terms that the action figure Ellen made of him is returned. Little Pete sends the action figure back, initially appearing to have put something dangerous in it, but only having attached his watch, hoping that seeing Don try to prevent the sabotage would help Phil bond with him. Little Pete worries that Don won’t be as close to him now that the war is over, but Don reassures Pete that he did the right thing and their bond would still hold.

This was a good episode with good Character Moments.
