Character Exploration

I went through a few iterations (especially in the face) on how Murray would look. I wanted him to maintain his youthful appearance but to be old enough to give off the personality of a angsty teenager that is super expressive. His personality centers around the toxic behavior of dependability where he tries to do everything himself and doesn't know how to be a team player. Aside from Keeli, he doesn't really have any friends until he realizes his rude behavior towards them is what is keeping him from making friends.

Orthographic Turnaround & Height Comparison

The cover page of a 6-part series for the character redesign of Murray the Chipmunk. The color scheme only changed very slightly and the color layout changed in the arms from previous designs. But now he has more personality than ever! I also added a height chart since these two characters will be coexisting very frequently.
