how to make a diagonal river for a bridge
a friend of mine was having difficulty figuring out how to make a diagonal river that was the right shape and size for a bridge to go across, and other examples were confusing for him.
i reccomend making a 'marker' custom pattern to help plan out where things go, and using it to mark out this shape.
then dig water squares along the top right and bottom left sides.
then join the leftmost square to the topmost square, and bottommost square with the rightmost square, with single water squares, and one square in from the marker edge. you want to make a rectangle shape like this.
then fill in the area with water.
finally, make the top left and bottom right sides into diagonals.
this makes a bridge that goes from the top left to bottom right! you can make it go any direction using this shape, and just change the sides that you are making into diagonals.
