What is computer imaging? It's the process of using a computer to translate an image into digital information.
What Is Computer Imaging?
Computer imaging is a process in which computations generate digital images of an object. The images represent the object’s shape, qualities, and performance, with those aspects retain interest to observers-objective properties such as size, surface texture, and reflectivity.
The process of computer imaging involves three phases-image acquisition, image processing, and 3D modeling.
First, image acquisition is carried out using sensors that capture the mechanical information of the object in question.
Second, image processing includes filtering, manipulating, improving the quality, and enhancing the content of images captured by capturing devices.
