How To Ship a CPU | Step by Step Guide
Step 1: Take the original box and put packing labels on it. If you don’t have one, you can go to USPS.com and purchase one for around $0.50.
– Put the original box inside another box that’s at least 2x the size of the original box.
– Place foam peanuts or bubble wrap in between the two boxes, so there is a layer of protection between the two boxes.
– Cut a hole in the side of the new outer box for each corner of the original CPU box so you can see how much room there is inside to fill with foam peanuts or bubble wrap.
– Cut a piece of cardboard to fill up any space between your CPU and where it will be sitting inside the new box.
– Use packing tape to seal up any openings in the outer box so no peanuts fall out when you ship it.
