What is our fucked up society coming to. They shame this man for being a legal provider and earner for his family. Yet we praise and glorify criminal behavior. At any point we can all fall from whatever perch we are on. Real character and strength is rebuilding. I don’t care how you legally feed your family as long as you’re doing just that. The easy way is to do something criminal. Don’t let your pride fuck you all the way up. I remember when I had to work at Pizza Hut to feed my family. Was it humiliating, at first it was. So I’m excellent at shutting down or giving you the silent treatment when I’m hurt (yes men get hurt too) or when I’m beyond angry. Is this the best way to handle things? Absolutely not. Have I lost friends and/or relationships because of this? Absolutely. But it’s my process, it’s how I figure things out. I apologize to those that ever received this treatment from me. I try to be a better Bee everyday. I know this is something people won’t tolerate. I understand and respect what you have to do to counter my behavior. I find this disheartening because the protest was to bring awareness to racial injustice. Perhaps #DakPrescott doesn’t realize the protest helps him too. He may have money but perhaps someone in his family is less fortunate and may encounter some of the bad police officers that every police station has. Very sad that he thinks so little of the protest. Or maybe he’s bowing down to #JerryJones form of racism.
