A little quick writing I did abt being in love with the sun even though it hurts

I was listening to "The Ballad of Jane Doe" by Emily Rohm so thats kinda the energy I wrote this in if you wanna fully immerse yourself (or just want a new song to listen to)

I would flee from her passionate hatred as she lit my soul ablaze.

Her love hurt yet, still, I yearned for her.

I reached toward the sky and tried to grab hold of the fire of her heart, hoping that a part of it burned for me.

Her firey touch and hard-earned love that scorned me so was addictive and as much as it hurt, I continued dancing under the rays of her love.

When my love went to rest, I would sit under the blessing of the stars and tell the sky about My Lady, The Sun.

*Except Isen doesn’t pay the money back with Arlo

*Arlo bought Isen 50 pens and stuck them in a box for Isen’s bday

*Isen cried that day and held onto Arlo and wouldn’t let go

*Arlo will tell Isen when he’s doing a good job as jack bc he knows that Isen didn’t want to be jack

*Though Arlo reads a lot faster than Isen does so Isen’s got a whole stack of books he’s gotta read

ATTENTION REI FANS!!!

Rei cried that night.

He cried ugly tears of pain and guilt.

His death wasn’t fast at all.

It was slow and painful.

And all he could think of was leaving his little sister and mom.

He thought about Arlo, wondering if he was still the king. Smiling as he thought of all the crazy shit Arlo said the day of graduation.

He wondered if they had any friends. If they were still friends. If they had someone to love yet. Someone they wanted to protect.

And then he cried harder as the adrenaline and shock wore off and the pain of his wounds and burns came in full force.

He remembered those years when Arlo and Remi would get together and throw shitty surprise parties for his birthday.

He remembered how excited he was when he first saw his little sister.

He remembered her smiling at him and reaching her hands out.

He died with a smile and in pain.
