Finding inward and outward peace has become such an important part of my life. It is something I search for day in and day out. It has taken years to fully trust not only God but to trust my ability to follow Him and His plan for me. There are still moments where I find myself struggling to be completely faithful and trusting. I went down to the beach today searching for more peace, once again. To feel everything around me slow down and feel myself come back to what is important and who is truly important in the scheme of eternity. As father's day approaches I am reminded of not only my father Kevin, but also of the loving father who has embraced my entire family and who loves and respects my mom the way she truly deserves. I miss my dad immensely everyday. There is not a day where I don't think about him. But I have come to love and cherish my second dad, Ken, beyond what words can express. I am so grateful to him and everything he does for us and for the love he tries so hard to show and give to a stubborn me and my siblings. In all of this, love and knowing love is what brings me eternal peace. Not just the love I have for others but for the love I feel from my Heavenly Parents, my Elder Brother, Jesus Christ, my daddy who is now with God, and for my parents here on earth. As well as all my extended family. Love is peace and knowing love brings strength and confidence. Don't let it go to waste.
