20 000fr a month is baffling. That's roughly 101 600€. 115 8007 dollars. What the FUCK is he spending them on. Does he stuff his mattress with the bills?

TRULY One little detail I liked in Kay's novel that explained this is that he uses that money to fund his solicitor's children's education. (The guy had, like, 10 kids or something insane, and Erik felt bad and wanted to help. Very cute.)

But otherwise..............candles?????? Armani????? Funko Pops? What are we doing with all that cash, Erik, truly?!

(Personally, I think he does it for the love of the game and because he DID live in deprivation for a long time when he was younger. He's probably like, "Screw it, I demand wealth and comfort and luxury at this point, I have EARNED it.")

In the og novel he only became The Phantom after falling in love with Christine. The money would be for their dream home and for anything she might need/want. Erik needed it as he thought that might make her see that he could provide for her better than any patron would.

For this card, we chose the iconic "Sing for Me" scene between Erik and Christine, a moment that perfectly reflects the harmony, connection and shared energy represented by the Four of Wands.

You may have noticed that the curtains are red. That’s because we’ve chosen red as the signature colour for the Suit of Wands throughout our deck. To represent the Wands themselves, we decided to use candles. Since Wands are associated with the element of Fire, candles felt like the perfect symbolic choice. Naturally, this card features four candles, one for each Wand.

We love weaving these little symbolic details into our cards, making every design tell more than one story. Did you spot the candles right away?
