Stan glanced at the note on his passenger seat again, wondering why Fidds gave it to him.
Surely, he’d figured out that Ford wasn’t interested, if he’d never even mentioned him before… It hurt to think about it, but if he was honest with himself, he knew it would happen.
Ford wasn’t really the sentimental type. Not anymore. Not since… Fuck, he couldn’t remember the last time Ford gave him a hug and it felt genuine.
He felt familiar tears tickle his eyes and he took a deep breath. It didn’t matter anymore. He wasn’t going to cry in his car on the side of the road like a loser for a brother who’d decided he was better off without Stan, long before the science fair accident.
He remembered Ford slowly pulling away, asking Stan to leave the room so he could focus on his studies, talking about his future and no longer theirs… Yeah, sure, Stan had pushed his luck with the smart comment on treasure hunting but he’d seen this coming from miles away.
He’d just… Hoped that Ford would come around. Come to his senses. Maybe even reach out.
Stan shook his head, some thoughts were better left behind in the past. He missed Ford more than anything, but he’d promised himself he wouldn’t reach out. Not now, when he was still living out of his car and it could be seen as a call for help. He didn’t need help! He was doing just fine.
The lie rang hollow inside of him but he forced himself to believe it. He hadn’t gone this far for nothing, hadn’t lived this long with basically nothing to give up now. He was bound to be good at something at some point, right? So what if he took shortcuts to get there?
He sat back and took the note, re-reading the numbers there as if he hadn’t already memorized them, just in case.
Calling Ford was out of the question but what about Fidds? He’d basically asked Stan out, had agreed to go for drinks even. He didn’t seem like the kind of man who would stab him in the back. Although Stan knew that meant nothing, he’d been stabbed in the back by plenty of people, sometimes even literally.
But… Fidds had felt comforting. It wasn’t something he allowed himself to have very often, mostly because it was dangerous at best and addictive at worst. He’d found him endearing, the same way he’d look at puppies at the pet store sometimes and find them cute.
Maybe he should allow himself this. One nice evening, a couple of drinks, and a promise to trade funny stories at Ford’s expense. God knows he had plenty of those…
So, I'm terrible at writing stories, but I really always have my head full of ideas that I'm completely incapable of completing.
due to the lack of more Fiddlestan fics, I've been led to the unfortunate necessity of fulfilling my own desires.
So I had this idea, which doesn't make any sense at all, I just like certain parts of it, But after reading a fic where Tate basically despises his father and especially Stan, because they're basically a couple (and because his father abandoned his mother for this man)
A Fiddlestan AU like any other, where Fiddleford is looking for Ford but ends up meeting Stanley and together they try to fix the portal, blah, blah, blah. The important thing is that Fiddleford stays sane long enough to want to be a good father to his son and decides to take some time out during the holidays.
He's not officially Stan's partner yet, but the tension is there and it's obvious, so obvious that little Tate can sense it and feel upset, and see Stan's presence as a threat to his father's relationship with his mother.
So Stan has this little flea as an enemy, who keeps giving him hateful looks for no apparent reason.
I don't know, the idea seems funny and sad at the same time
I feel like I'm a little late for Fiddlestan's party, but it's only now that I've finally gotten around to drawing them.
So I've seen some fanfics and drawings where they pair old Stan with a young Fiddleford, BUT almost nobody is considering old man McGucket and mullet Stan.
especially when the old man becomes a millionaire and lives in that beautiful mansion at the end of the series
I had this silly idea in my head, where Stan accidentally travels through time thanks to some invention of McGucket's and swaps places with his past self, so now a 30-year-old Stanley is standing in front of this old millionaire who is dying to help him and keep him safe in his mansion, He gives him a place to stay and food; of course, the man seems a bit off his rocker, but he's a crazy old man with money, and he's looking for a way to maintain his stay there permanently.
Soooo Stanley tries to seduce this old man with every trick he can think of, and for some strange reason, it's working.
He totally hit the lottery
Meanwhile, old Stan is trying to find his way to Gravity Falls and hopes that the pair of nerds he finds there will help him return to his own time.
I finally managed to make a Stanley after a long while but I’ll be honest, I don’t know if I’ll be able to make more due to the tariffs. (Which honestly sucks since I had fun plans for him :,^( )
Despite this, I’d still like to get everyone’s opinion on him! I hope you all like him! And I hope I can make him later on~~
